This review sucks!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! This movie got a big openning and overwhelming response in UAE n US even before it released in Mumbai...... Its a FUNDOOO movie with rocking music and rocking acting by Akshay, Ritesh and Fardeen.
There's a dance sequence where Akshay and SRK look ROCKING together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Im sure the writer is paid to screw the opening!
Guys.. every time i see Rediff Movie Revies column, the review is an exact opposite of the all the other reviews' total stand...

I think this movie is good. Sajid Khan first film, don't be harsh on him. He is a director in future to reckon with. I watched Dhamaal, Dhol and Hey baby...out of all 3 movies I think this is decent film. It has right emotions, not over the top comedy and a distinct sense of humor that is not seen in Hindi films. Looking forward to Sajid Khan's next film. Sajid dont read what critics say...they make money by trashing film makers...they live on other people creativity so just care a F..K for them and go on to make films because we as audience enjoy your film

I agree .... rediff reviews sucks ... this is such a good entertaining movie ... going good here in UK TOO... Hey baby
it was good in the starting but after half an hour it was horrible till interval and after interval it was quite comedy for half an hour again and then emotional scene so i think it was just a ok movie 2 out of 5
Hey Babby is the biggest hit of year 2007,because of Akshay Kumar he is the king of bollowood his commedy timing is traffic Akshay kumar is thousand time better than SRK

truly said!! shahrukh had support of chopra's, Johar's and Bhansali's while Akshay has become big with mediocre banner's.

This indeed is a good movie. I dont think the reviews provided above are fair. I think the movie should be rated as 3.5 or 4 if not 5.

akshay is a good actor but he is not the king of bollywood.oh i think u forgeted the khans.
what expectations i had... atleast expected some comedy... but frnds this one is really horrible... sucks really...it is heard the director is doing sequel... now god only can save us...
2007 very bad year for all film industries barring Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali. The other three namely hindi, tamil and telegu are in trouble as one movie clicks for every twenty flops and in the process loosing lot of money. Stereotypes and glamour is out , Art and Reality is in. See the stats

This is good one chndru. I agree trend has clearly changed. Everything is upside down now.Glamour is surely out.people are fed up. Art movies are much much better.No wonder movie ind. like Malayalam and kannada are doing well

BTW.....telugu film industry called TOLLYWOOD and tamil fim industry is called KOLLYWOOD
