Sholay is a film in which acting of every actor is a classic starting from Amitabh bachan to Amjad khan to Asrani .Even if Ramesh Sippy gather all the same people & create Sholay again he will definitely fail. The remake of Sholay by its own creator will not match the Original then How can Ram Gopal Verma create the same ? I am sorry nobody can recreate it even after 100 years .

I saw one song "Gussa kyu hain....bla bla ..something like that from RGV ke AAG... its so irritating acting by that girl.God save us from this idiotic movie and actors.

I See all the RGV no matter how they are ... It is just because of his technical aspects. No body can take films like Shiva,Drohi,Satya,Kaun and company
Sholay is the Big Daddy of Indian movies and no director can ever recreate that Magic. Ramesh Sippy put his heart, soul, mind, and body into it and it clearly shows.
Ram Gopal Verma is a very good director but in the case of Sholay he just can't measure up to Ramesh Sippy. He should have first tried to remake Ramesh Sippy's other classics like Andaaz, Seeta aur Geeta, Shakti, or Saagar.

Yes, I saw RajiniCant_Act's picture on a happy Meal from mcDonald's. It is such unhealthy food. these guys have to stop putting cartoons like the one above to attract children.
Whatever idiots say RGV had the courage to remake sholay. He is any day a better director than Ramesh sippy who has only a sholay to talk about and which was shamlesly lifted from Seven samurai.

are you cracy comparing ramu with ramesh sippy, the films directed by Ramesh sippy is classic you see any movies except shaan which was a disaster. Ramu is really mad to make a copyright of sholay it is a total flop

Indian Films are divided into two periods Sholay BC and Sholay AD. It is a timeless classic and the person who made it has to be a director of substance. Please do not compare Ramesh Sippy to Ramgopal Varma. They both come from different generations; and regarding Ramesh Sippy's other films- please see the following movies-Andaaz, Seeta aur Geeta, Shakti, Saagar--all of them timeless classics.

RGV is too superior a director both as a story teller and as a technician. And telling abt ramesh sippys he is still known for sholay (whatever other peopel say and he has a long list of good dud flops) which cant be entirely credited to him as he balantly copied it from seven samurai and other films, Even the frames and shot taking was lifted. May be atleast RGV can make a comedy out of original sholay he dared to do it . Sippy and team can never muster the courage to do something like this. Every one will swim with the tide, the one who swims against the tide is the real winner.

Sholay was a cock and bull story. A man without two arms cannot fight with anybody nor two men can fight with a gang of ferocious dacoits. Only Amzad's version seems to be real

RGV has of late made movies as if to make fun of traditional bollywood movies... It seems he forgot to take movie making serious. I doubt the same is going to happen with this. It will be a crap and forgettable movie..
