SRK IS AN AGEING AND BORING STAR. IN ALL HIS FILMS HE LOOKS AND ACTS THE SAME. CONTRYARY TO WHAT MANY PEOPLE ARE SAYING, HE HAS ACTED IN THE ONLY WAY HE KNOWS; NOT AS KABIR KHAN BUT AS SKHAN. THIS FILM HAS ALREADY BOMBED AT THE SMALL CENTRES. HOWEVER, GOOD RESPONSE IN METROS MAY ENSURE AN AVERAGE RETURN FOR THE FILM. HOWEVER THE MOVIE IS NOTHING LIKE A LAGAAN OR IQBAL. MANY OF THE PEOPLE ARE SO THIRSTY FOR A HOCKEY WORLD CUP (EVEN IF IMAGINARY) THAT THEY ARE JUMPING LIKE MONKEYS; LIKE INDIA HAS WON A WOMEN'S HOCKEY WORLD CUP. BUT THE MOVIE IS CRAP. PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR A BLOCKBUSTER HRITHIK FILM AFTER KRRISH AND KOI MIL GAYA.

Mr Rakesh Sharma u seem to be jealous of SRK. People know that SRK has given award winning performance and for u r kind information the film has not bombes it's just 3 days old let the film run for 3 weeks and will we come to know whether it's a average film or a hit film. as far as hritik is concerned he is a g8 actor but where's the story in KRISSH and doom 2.Chak de at least has a story to tell. So Mr. sharma wait for 3 weeks before passing u r judgment like a GOD

have you gone through the daily collections chak de on film web sites? 40-50% in small centres. Does that mean anything? Look at Mr. Amitach Bachchan; the ICON OF INDIAN CINEMA who at this ripe age of 65 is still giving award winning performances but there is never a word of boast from the great man but this small man keeps on boasting and boasting. By the way which are the award winning performances of SRK that you are mentioning about?

Mr Rakesh Sharma Chak de is just 3 days old film so let the film complete 3 weeks then we can see a clear picture whether the film has done well or not. Mr bachchan is a g8 human beign and a g8 actor of all time. But Mr bachchan today can'tt pull crowds to the theather as SRK does. SRK single handely draws crowds for overseas market. The time in the history of indian cinema a villiam wins an best actor award. and in the same year Kabhi haa Kabhi Naa - Srk wins critics award a record which is still intact. Hey ram, Swades, DDLJ, Kkht, AND now Chak De so many. so better get u r facts right
This is a movie not to watch SRK, but for the sake of a good movie. I think this is one of the best movies dedicated to only sports and specially hockey. lets not be biased towards SRK or others. The aim is to make a good movie either entertaining or based on our country or society, which this movie does very well. Not watching this movie only because you are a Rithik or Rajni fan is similar to creating statism. Lets grow out of our shells and appretiate a good movie.
Firstly regarding this review. The girl he's talking about is Bindya, not Gunjan. Go see it again. Secondly, it's a good film because Shimit is able to balance things out a little. You'll realise the over the top things & the over enthu background score, the extra cheesy clapping of his coming back in the village are all Yash raj factors, not Shimits. The way he's been able to strike a balance between is with regards to production levels, at least the hostels the girls were staying in looked real, at least they were sweating, at least the bathroom looked dirty, the beds not cushy, the girls sans too much makeup, the actual star of the film (komal chauthala) beign a hockey player not an actress, which is why she was so wonderful!. So it worked where he wanted it to. Even in terms of storyline, it was predictable but you were able to enjoy it. Though it didn't seem like a worldcup to me(stadiums too small/didn't get the world cup fever) & I wish they'd spent some more money on that ugly world cup instead of letting us see that fake silver paint over thermocol or something. Overall a good see. but thats also because we're so starved to watch something decent.
i simply love shahrukh................he is my dreamboy ............my best wishes r with him and his family..........and i must say that he is looking superb in chak de india....just keep it up...........love juni

Swati aunty, You liked the movie ,and I do not object. Then why are you so critical of someone who went to watch the movie and did not find it good ? If they are showing wome sports,then why not take some good gals ? Imagine Katrina with a hockey stick..or Kareena or even Preity !
What is the problem with you ? Its a bad movie and the BOX OFFICE has proven it.

I think you like movis like 'Pyasii Jawani', 'Barsat ki Aag','Jism Ki Bhookh' kind of movies. For you i agree the movie definetely suck as there is no sucking.. ha ha. Its a abaolute must wath movie, only movie dedicated to sports in recent time, with best performances and some of the nail biting hockey scenes.

this movie is really the best of king khan till now and particularly 16 gals have done a perfect job. It will be unjustice to rate this movie as this shows true patriotism through our national game on 60th anniversary of our country's independence.
One word: Brilliant! This was easily the best film of 2007... SRK is back with bang. This is one of his best performances .this is slap for anti sharukh people.............rocking movie ...........sure shot blockbuster
