What a crap movie and crap acting... i guess the gals acted well for first timers.. shahrukh is boring and crap.. the songs are crap... anyone can guess the story line..nothing new except that it is women's hockey... I think Shiney Ahuja is great actor and better then Shahrukh Khan..

We are talking about indian movie, havn't seen Namesake yet, so can't comment.Do not compare Hollywood with india dear, movies like 'Life is Beautiful' can never be made here, but were are discussing on what we have in our plate.In recent time i doing't thing there is any movie which targeted sports authorities of india, except Eqbal to some extent.

Then y not iqbal...? it is great as well... whatever u saw in chakde is better presented in Iqbal... but since chak de is packaged well since it has Shahrukh it all sound so great 2 all u guys and u come out feeling proud of india... same guys will switch off TV when some real story of some brave people comes on History or Nat Geo Channel... Chak De is just one of well packaged product..

good thing thing is that they have tried to make a movie on our national sport which is forgotten by all of us. it takes guts to make such a movie. SRK showed that he has the courage to do a role which requires tremondous challenge. it was such a big risk at this of his carrer. same old story line - this is a new story which movie has been made on hockey that too on womens it's a new subject unique. It shows reality like the boy's hockey team defeating women's team and at the same time aaplauding their effort.
glorification of some sport - it shows glorification of hockey our national sport have u ever played hockey or watched it it's easyto sit on u r cosy chair and comment but just see howzz the sport is beign treated in our counter.
personel achivements - It gives us hope and ability to fight u can feel the pain of the coach and girls. it's gives us motivation to fight our demons and emerge victorious. it's an inspiration.
If these things are not enough for u then i guess u r not a true patriotic indian

I think you like movis like 'Pyasii Jawani', 'Barsat ki Aag','Jism Ki Bhookh' kind of movies. For you i agree the movie definetely suck as there is no sucking.. ha ha. Its a abaolute must wath movie, only movie dedicated to sports in recent time, with best performances and some of the nail biting hockey scenes.
This is a movie not to watch SRK, but for the sake of a good movie. I think this is one of the best movies dedicated to only sports and specially hockey. lets not be biased towards SRK or others. The aim is to make a good movie either entertaining or based on our country or society, which this movie does very well. Not watching this movie only because you are a Rithik or Rajni fan is similar to creating statism. Lets grow out of our shells and appretiate a good movie.

U dont seem to realize the worth of a self made man. The likes of u have been commenting abt SRK being nothng without Yashraj, Kjo, etc etc. But them wud our Big B be in the movies without the recommendations of Mrs Indira Gandhi? or where wud Hrithik Roshan be without Papa Roshan ?

SRK is a g8 actor he does not have looks like Hritik and Akshay but draws more crowds to theather anyday be it film or stageshows. He has given more hits in his carrer. He gave given a new dimension to indian cinema with his overseas populartiy he is most searched actor on google leaving behind Tom Hanks and Tom cruise. He has won more awards than Hritik and Askhay combined. He has wax staute in france paris where no other indian has reached so far. He is a good human beign and a truly great star and an actor who is eploring his option.
