it shows the arrogance of north indian mentality! they feel all the south people are inferior to them! They think hero means all these useless khan who do exercise to show the muscles in the screen and the old bachan! though as a Tamilian I respect his acting and his screen play. That too the story, screen play, the acting and direction of "vadakku nokki yantram" a doubting man suspects his wife always due to her beauty which rates better than him! let the north understand the meaning of this - the instrument shows the north direction always due to the magnetism, even if you turn it to other side also it will come back to north. Here the hero even after coming back from mental hospital for the treatment (he suspects his wife always) again he indirectly suspects! the comedy sense is superb! These film cannot be understood by the northies!!

When you do not know anything about a person, don't react by calling him joker! Others can call you worse names, my friend. Sreenivasan is a multi faceted personality who have contributed substantially to the Malayalam Films. Don't make comments on subjects you are unfamiliar with.

No it shows your psyche and intelligence. You would only like muscle toned idols dancing and gyrating in Hindi movies who have no better acting talent than a rotten dead body.

Yeah, he represents the common man. Whaddya think? That the Salmans and Hrithiks of the world are what mankind looks like? This shows your 'psyche'. Wake up and smell the coffee, dude. One doesn't need to look like a Greek God/Goddess to bring good cinema to the masses. Fabulous acting works most of the time.
Would say, it's rather childish and immature on your part to comment on a person's looks considering the person in question is a wonderful human being. And how do I know he's one? We hail from the same city. Think what you want of that!

Well, I feel lucky to be in a state whose majority share this 'psyche' and are able to appreciate such genre of Movies.
Though, I am feeling a bit sad and worried seeing the trend of Malayalam movie's sensibility and style slipping/polarising towards that of the other major movie industries in the country.

He is into filmy line. He has to take care of himself and his looks. You can show his photo anywhere in the world even in places like Rwanda or Somalia. They will forget all their miseries and start laughing.
Does he look himself in the mirror or does he really see his own films?

shutup idiot. you dont know anything about movies. if being slim is the requirement to be a hero, the russel crowe and jack nicholson can't be called heros. Duh~!. Sreenivasan is one of the best actors in the country. If you don't know much, just keep quiet.

Yeah dude we call him hero....He is a director.He is a script writer.He is an actor.He is a critic. And he has got awards from these fields...So definitely he is a hero...

He is a good actor... Don't get into his looks and skin colour.. Do Nana Pateker or Nasaruddin Shah can compete with Aftab Shivdasani or Shahid Kapoor for looks?? But they are established actors and best in the industry. Same apply to Srinivasan.

If looks are your taste, I recommend you go watch baywatch or fashion shows. This piece is about serious movies and serious film making. It is not about shirtless muscle displays, inane thunder dialogues, skin shows or item numbers.

ur psyched with kings of bollywood who do meaningless films and brainless people go to watch them. Watch Sreenivasan's Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala, it is available with English subtitles. U'll understand why we call him an actor. Looks don't matter, if ur paying for something it might well be worth the money.
He is a great contributer to malayalam film industry. He made as laugh. He made us think also. As an actor he is 100% natuaral. As a script writer no body else in indian cenema have his sarcastic style. As a Director he is 100 % success.
Mr.Sreenivasan is the most talented and versatile cinestar of present day Malayalam films. His latest movie "Arabikatha" is an open criticism to those who are making money by selling ideology particularly a majority of communist leaders in Kerala. Punnapra-Vayalar hero Mr. VS Achuthanandan, the chief minister of Kerala is trying hard to keep afloat the ideology above these leaders. He has been constantly tarnished by these leaders as they are thinking his(VS') presence in the CPI(M) is the hindrance to mint money for these leaders. "Arabikatha" is telling the story of a true honest communist like that of VS Achuthanandan. Hats off to you Mr. Srinivasan. He is the super duper hero of Malayalam film industry. Another great talented actor is Mr. Thilakan.
Good cinemas is call of the day now.As many people get influenced through cinema good message and correct informative films can bring in a lot of change to this society which is trailing into wrong wants of life.Positive interaction between individuals have dwindled increasing hatered and unrest inthis society of ours.Thus good cinemas can be lantern in this dark world which has turned very materialistic.
