Please tell your producers to more to heroes and Heroines. Otherwise all actors and actresses will go to other states and you have to satisfy with these chinese ladies...

we cast heros and heroines according to the story and script. We never do it like what ur ugly bald "the boss" do.

I have never seen so many like minded ppl on Discussion board. Srinivasan is indeed a gifted man. He has a fan base that spans the intelligentsia of our society. He is credited as one of the most influential & creative film makers in South India.

agree that his looks not good for hero but he made 100's of good movies. Many are remade in hindi and tamil. Great actor...

First try to understand the difference between an actor and a hero.
Om puri and Nasserudeen Shah are also not very attactive. But people love them because they are great actors. Sreenivasan is also like that, except that he is also an excellent writer and a director.

Don't laugh it off, my friend. We like Sreenivasan becase he is a multi-faceted personality. He is a wonderful scriptwriter, an actor with a comedy touch, etc. We appreciate anything good no matter what language, colour, beauty etc. He is more than his look. You will not understand my friend, Mr. Pandey.

Northies, will never understand the difference between 'Actor' and 'Star' . They have lot of Glamour 'Stars' in bollywood, but hardly any good 'Actor'. Sreenivasan is a good script writer and Actor, that is the basis of him having fans, we in Kerala look judge 'Actors' by 'Acting' not by looks , even your khans and bachchans are not good 'Actors' they are only 'Stars' for us, which you Northies ,who don't have any value for quality will never understand.

Hey Sanjay, I still movie is about good acting, nice story and good theme. His movies are far better than KANK, Jhoom, Veer Zaara and acting better than the shivering khan, killing "man" khan. That all movies that you have laughed like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala has already been shown in 90's when you were making craps.

Hindi movies are crap!!Southern movies have lot of meaning. Here people do not care about looks. It reflects common people unlike your Khans.Many of south Indian movies are made in Hindi.Your originality is crap so that is why they are being copied from southern movies

Lol...Please enlighten us on Super Heros and taste...We havent a clue about these in South India. We are poor people who watch movies that are crafted with utmost concern for social issues in the most entertaining way that reaches out to all spectrum of the society. Does taste have anything to do with these? Is a super hero required for the above purpose? Please comment.
Srinivasan is a great genius from mallu film. not only his acting talent, his humorous dialogues make you think deep. this mallu super star is much different from other heros. his films always has a theme presenting life of common men.
i am from karnataka but happend to be in kerala for sometime on work.. i have watched few of his movies thanks to my kerala freinds.. i must say this guy is awesome.. he simply rocks.. though i don understand malayalam except few words and slangs still his movies are enjoyable!the ppl who think and adore well toned good lookin wooden faced actors as heroes must see his films to know wat catually acting means..
Sreenivasan is the best Character actor in indian film industry now. Nobody has anydoubt about that and nobody can dispute the fact.Also he is the most intelligent writer in films.
Sreenivasan still respects the power of the film medium, which for millions of others are the fiefdom of some superstars and a tool for money-makers. All of Sreenivasna-scripted movies or in films he had a critical role in shaping up the movie, the end product had been brilliant. I enjoy the movie nadodikattu even today, for its dark humour on unemployment, struggle and unsymapthetic ways of the world to the dispossessed. It makes you reflective and caring for your societie's cries.
