Congrats to Dilip Saab. He is one of the finest actors ever produced by this film industry. He should have been given this award much earlier. His performance in Aadmi, Ram Aur Shyam, Daag, Madhumati, Devdas and so on was marvelous. He is undoubtedly most versatile actor in the film industry. I, on behalf of other fans and on my own behalf congratulate him and wish him good health too.
Dilip Saab is one of the greatest actors Indian industry even produced. He doesnt become great now because he received Phalke award> In face he is great and hence the award. Instead of going in to other details, let us appreciate the most appealing actor. We talk about his acting performance and not the merit of movies he acted nor on how genuine the history depicted in the movies for which as an actor Dilip Saab was not responsible.
I was just watching Ek Phool Do Mali in which Manorama has a role. Manorama always played that nasty eye rolling evil character. I thought that she was dead long ago until I saw Water. In Water Manorama returned to the screen after many years and she has a long role and she did her part so well that I feel she should have been nominated. With Dilip Kumar getting an award along with a few character actors also getting recognition I wish that someone would also honour Manorama.
Dear readers, I still don%u2019t understand y some readers (in this article) abusing each others God. God is not anyone%u2019s personal property. We will not be great by using abusive languages against that ALMIGHTY. The issue is Dilip kumar gets Phalke award. And u brainless ppl. instead of cheers him, starts abusing each others God. Always keep in mind when you do any wrong thing neither God nor Allah can save you.

R u kidding? For what reason? On which movie? Who else should be the competetor for best actor the same year... Anyway, Phalke award is not based on that .. So all of will get one award some point of time
yeh dilip saheb ke liye koi fakhr ki bat nahi hai yeh award ko fakhr hai ke wo dilip saheb ke pas gaya hai. Jo log dilip saheb ka compair kis doosre actor say karte hain wo log acting ke bare main kuch nahi jante. poori film industry unki pooja karti hai. amitabh kaya wo to dilip saheb ko khud acting ki pathsahal kehte hain. phir hum or aap kehne wale kon hote hain.

the article complains about false portrayal of Akbar and his rule, but in regards to him it is quite biased. I mean, Akbar was the first king to get rid of the taxes on Hindus for being Hindu. Akbar had tried to create a religion that was a combination of Hinduism and Islam, for the sake of bringing Hindus and Muslims together. I agree that the movie does distort things to a certain extent, but the events in the events in the movie with the love story were supposedly true. Also, Akbar did marry a Hindu.

Yeah, Sal and Shah may get... Thats the fact here.. Historical movie distorting the role. That's not the problem with the actor man. Do you think that a person should be nice and true to get an award.
