I completely agree with Kabul here. I'm Hindu, so I'll speak primarily to the Hindus as I have a greater knowledge of Hinduism than Islam. But it's a disgrace because Hinduism says that there is one God and that everyone has the right to see him in their own way. So the hypocritical manner by which you all are bashing one another's beliefs is shameful.

I am an Acting teacher who has got vast knowledge of acting and actors of the world. I still stand by my remark that Mr Dilip Kumar is above all awards.
People need some times pass for debates MR. DILIP KUMAR IS A LEGEND OF ALL TIME WHY PEOPLE HERE ALSO COMPARING HINDU MUSLIM OR MR. DILIP KUMAR WITH OTHER ACTORS In his era he is a SUPER STAR and uptill now also he is the only guy who received 7 film fare awards as a best actor hardly he given 47 film in his 40 - 50 years in film industry but mostly 90% of his films are memorable
From Aaan till Saudagar he is amazing actor

If you were near me random thoughts you would have got a slap from and a big one too. Art is art Hindu or Muslim it does not matter Dilip Kumar is a legend and so far no one has matched him. The Hindu government made a big hoo-ha when Pakistan awarded him for his services to cinema. Why should Pakistan award a person in India they have their own people in their own film industry. So why Dilip Kumar well Mr it is was to the art and performance and not to a Muslim. Come out of your shell it is people like yourself who create all these Hindu Muslim riots by provoking others. Shame on you.

these females neither know acting or art ,any male actor who flirts with girls on screen and just oozes emotions means he is a better actor for them , this is absolute stuidity from females just see tom hanks thats called acting any actor who acts as per the role and who does different roles is a better actor than a actor who repitedly does the same role again and again(srk and dilip kumar),dilip kumar is not even 10% of devsab/amitabh/rajkapur/balraj saini/manoj kumar/ or forget not even 1% of kamal hasan people say kamal is arrogant but he doesnot show even a piece of it on the screen he is the best actor for me(even though i am not a tamilian) now people will say that i am antifeminist but you must open your eyes and do some rational thinking for yourselves just a actors movie is a hit doesnot mean he is the best as srk goes on saying in the town,(king of bollywood) and contrary see amir who is 100% better than shahrukh all the way,open your eyes and see the truth it is always bitter but learn to bear it for it will do good for you in the long term

Mr.Santosh, you don't know anything about acting. of course no doubt Tom hanks is really a good actor, but u can't compare him with our indian actors. and moreover u r comparing Dilip kumar to Amitabh, just see the picture Shakti once again, if u haven't seen,then u'll know who is a better actor, Raj kapur acted like his own style (though he copied Charlie Chaplin), Dev Anand was again in his own category. U can't compare them with Dilip kumar, just see his old flicks like Devdas, yahudi, Ganga Jamuna, Naya Daur, and Saudagar. After seeing these movies as well if u don't understand who is a better actor, then u know nothing about acting.

Mr. Suresh, i haven't seen any film based on the communal feelings like you. Do you know one thing, many scenes were deleted from Shakti movie coz of Amitabh's ego, if the film had been made according to the true script it would have shown different things. Salim Javed has written the script according to the story, they gave the character played by dilip kumar more imporatnce, but they never gave dilip kumar any importance, its the character thats matters. and in no scene could Amitabh match Dilip Kumar (or Yousuf as you told!) remember never bring any communal feelings while describing about acting. I really pity your mentality, thinking. Even pran was a better actor compared to Amitabh, just watch his classic movie (Halaku, I think so, I don't remember the name exactly), just compare his acting in the movie zanjeer to taht of Amitabh, no doubt Amitabh's character was big in that movie, but see the acting of pran, then you will know who is better one.

Even Kamal Hassan is a big fan of Dilip Kumar. In one interview he said he congratulated Dilip Kumar for his performance in Gunga Jamuna when he first saw the movie after almost 25 years of its release. Devdas , Ganga Jamuna , Ram aur Sham , Sangharsh , Madhumati, Mashaal , Shakti the list is endless...

Amitabh is far more versatile actor than Dilip Kumar..Dilip Kumar is extremely stylized..u seen one movie u seen it all..hes good in tragedy..there are far more versatile actors than DK..Sanjeev Kumar, Nana Patekar, Amitabh are all far better than DK. Raj Kapoor is a lot more lovable and multifaceted genius.
