I have one request for my Tamil friends, that we should recognise the acting capabilites and styles of Partibhan and not Rajnikanth. Rajnikanth is old man, whereas Partibhan is young handsome and skilled guy.
Hi Guys, Listened to songs of sivaji.sounds good.but nothing diffrent except the song rendered by A.R.R HIMSELF.The rest are the same for instance i can say listening to hid old film tracks gentleman,Tiruda Thiruda. Defnetly a good change of track for a superstar movie. Wishing its crew a sucess.
Wen i happen to see all the reviews i cant stop laughing looking at coz We have to understand one thing Whether it is Big B,s.r.k or Rajnikanth,Mamooty,Chiranjeevi etc.......... All of them are contributing towards arts and they indeed are representating our country all over the world and exibiting their talents to show that India Our Country is not backward In Arts...... Like wise if every indian feels that what have we contibuted towards our country we can see many names emerging all over the world like Big b,S.R.K,Rajnikanth........ And one Word Dont Divide India AS North and south coz this is what made successful to rule us .So plsssss make your backbone strong and feel& make proud of our country."Mother India".
One Last Word, Since am a traveller i have seen many foreign locales who are adopting our system in to their day to day life.they started to realise our values wereelse we are deviating ourselves from our tradition and values. Sorry to deviate from the topic Mohan,Dubai.
While Amitabh continues to give knockout performances rivaled only by his southern counterpart Kamal, this aged hero continues to don ridiculous wigs and dance with his heroines fit to be his grand-daughters, all to please a mediocre crowd. Sad!
In any society, the number of people who love mediocrity far outweighs people who love classic stuff. No wonder this hero makes this kind of money! And people, all that money is coming from your pockets...!

Amitabh does his movies without playing safe. Dude, your appreciation of movies leaves a lot to be desired. Of course, for a crowd that can understand only the flipping of cigarettes and tossing of shades, you really can't expect more than this! Amitabh has moved beyond bashing up a hundred villains and cheap gimmicks. His audience has grown up too. Kamal, a much better actor anyday is in the doldrums in his own state only because the audience there has never grown up enough to appreciate him.

Rajini played so many roles as he portrayed sadistic to Sri Ragavendra in his 100th film. if you put Amitabh in these roles (?), it would have been a big RISK, not SAFE for the producers as you said, but not with RAJINI.
Flipping cigareetes was famous long long ago, that was during his initial days which made people to notice him(25-30 years ago). He does not depend on that anymore, check Chandramukhi and for the above mentioned religious film. Style alone is not going to bring in the money that his movies do now.
Thats the success he brings in his acting, no matter what role, he could connect to the masses. Best of all WHOLE FAMILY could watch his movies.
I am sure you wouldnt let kids in your near family to watch the latest Amitabh movie. In reality, Amitabh is neither a sucessfull commercial hero like Rajini, Chiru nor talented actor like kamal, Mammooty, MohanLal even Surya.
But you hindi guys can keep call him great/national/international hero, Indian of the year,etc,etc and propose him for Presidency.

Utter Nonsense. Amitabh is 7 years older than Rajni. Let's look at the movies he was making about 7 years ago: # Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999) .... Kabeera # Lal Baadshah (1999) .... Dual Role (Lal 'Baadshah' Singh & Ranbhir Singh)
Look like good movies to you? He was acting with heroines far below his age too.

Oooh... Amitabh doesn't play it safe... Come on he is an actor getting paid. Please let me know when he is bold enough to produce a movie without playing safe. Rajnikanth produces most of his movies and splits the profits with legends of Tamil cinema who are in debt, while Amitabh experiments with someone else's money. Wow!

Amitabh Bachan is the role model for Rajni in many occassions. The following movies are dubbed from Hindi to Tamil. 1) Namak Halaal is Velaikaran 2) Kaalia is Billa and so on.... so without Amitabh there is no Rajnikanth mind it...

Even there is a Tamil Movie which is remake of Deewar with Rajini as leading role.

After Chandramuki, he is the the highest paid actor in India and second in Asia(Jackie Chan - Rs. 25 crores) For Sivaji he is going to get Rs 45 crores.
