May God grant eternal peace to the Screen legend, Padmini. She was spontaneous and lively actress. She exhibited the style of Bharat Natyam with her personal charm, confidence, and exellence.There were few exponents of Bahart Natyam, who could reach her popularity chart. Padmini will always be remembered of her aesthetic, divine beauty. May God bless her family in recovering from the sudden loss.
My heartfelt condolences. One of the very beautiful and at the same time very talented actress has passed away. One can never forget her role in Chithi, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Thillana Mohanambal, Vietnam Veedu and Vanjikottai Valibahn, a few films in many to mention. Though it is natural that everyboday has to die one day, we are not able to swalllow when such great people die. I am so Sorry again.
Padmini was one actress who was blessed with exceptional dancing abilities, great acting skills and a terrific screen presence. She reigned the Tamil cinema in the 50s and 60s. I enjoy watching many of her movies with Sivaji Ganesan and MGR. It is very difficult to find an actress of this kind. My heartfelt condolences to her family. For sure, she will live in our hearts and minds for a long time.
Padmini...........evokes images of Thillana Mohnambal...........a fiery character........matched so well to another legend Shivaji Ganeshan........the movie has been on the Channels so many times...........and one just does not get bored seeing it so many times..........
