Stop Hammering Junior Dutt
by Saket on Nov 28, 2006 12:25 PM

It is highly unethical on part of our judicial system to punish cruely to someone who has done something wrong, either unknowingly or thru someone else's misguiding.

In case of Sanjay Dutt, both the things go hand in hand. Everyone knows that Sanju was a spilt brat & in a fit of young age & misguiding by the film makers, he purchased a Rifle by wrong means. There was no one to guide him that what he is doing is wrong. Now that he has realized it & has already been punished for almost a year & half, the TADA court should acquit him & make him free.

At this juncture, even his father is not present to help him now & apart from all this trauma, his personnel life is equally disturbed.

Should be given one chance to prove his innocence.

No Mercy please

Hi,

I think nobody would like the trading of judgements in court market here in India.
The mere act of this legend actor might have saved 500 lives and 10 billion rupees of loss to India.

The biggest shit in our mouth is that these legends help to spoil Indias dignity.

He is certainly a good actor but not a faithful Indian.
Being a good leader and thereby killing own people mean a dictator.

We must shame on our self for praying these actors.
Thanks

Himanshu Tiwari

Sanjay Dutt is a star for sure. I think there is something in Sanju. I'm so perplexed at things in India. At one hand we have the govt pardoning hard core Terrorists in Kashmir, there are so many MLA's and goons in Bihar / UP who are having AK-47/56 and openly brandishing it in videos shown on National TV. The whole of Hurriyat conference are against the state of India. Why no case is registered against the terrorists in Kashmir!! Also recently we had the sikh community coming out and brandishing nude Swords on the streets to protest against the hair cutting controversy. Does anyone know that brandishing knives, Swords etc in public places is illegal. Why no case is registered in such cases. The question is there are so many thugs and crooks here. Its all political. Law is applicable on one person and not on others. Many Kashmiris who were terrorists and militants have now become ministers. They all had AK-47 / AK-56, hand grenades. Why CBI is not pressing any charges on such Kashmiri terrorists. Real terrorists who attack and kill our army men in Kashmir are pardoned and made ministers etc, where as some guys like Sanjay Dutt are suffering...

What are you upto. Do you want Sanjay to be punished after those Ministers, or set him free like them?

$ is not = to Rs.
by Rajgz on Sep 17, 2006 04:04 PM

The quick link on the home page says "$1.5 bn on Sanju" tempting me to read the article but the actual figure inside is Rs. 1.3 bn.

Unlike others i dont have problem if Crore is converted to Billion but please dont alias Rs. with $. :-)

Rs. 150 crore does not equal $1.5bn...
by realmovie_fan on Sep 16, 2006 11:09 PM  | Hide replies

Rs. 150 crore does not equal $1.5bn. Try to give correct headings to your articles.

Considering the average $ to Rs. conversion rate of Rs. 45-

Rs. 150 crore approx. = $33.33 million
$1.5 billion is aprrox. = Rs. 67500000000

Rediff you are too big a site to make such a foolish mistake. On second thoughts, is this really a mistake or are you trying to generate a sympathy vote for Mr. Dutt.
Whatever it is, try not to make such mistakes... you loose your credibility.

I dont get this - On home page it says $1.5 Billion
when u click the link it totally downsizes the figure to 1.5 Billion Rs

This article requires some serious editing
