Sometimes I wonder is bollywood is running out of new stories new concepts and new ideas becoz remaking of all good old movies sounds not a good idea at all. Devdas was enough and it was good remake as old black n white version no known remember at all. but Remix of sholey no man I M not person bron in 81 yet I love AB n all in Movie sholey. Yet i cant think of some one else playing as AB and Dharmandar !! who will play Hema jee. One should remake some old black n white versions but its too much remaking of all good old movies e.g umro jaan does Ash can compete REkha jee in any way at all MAN now Way !! no one ever take place of REKHA and AB !! why dont bollywood understand that Fact !! SRK must need new movies but not the remake ones come on get a life now !!
Film sounds like ramgad ke sholey the biggest flop. Is there any reason why the film promo on day of shoting? Ramu large amount of publicity also make problem to film because people expect more if not satisfied then its BIG flop. SO concentrate on film rather than publicity.
Amjhad Khan is being paid a great tribute by none other then Bachchan. However, RGV is playing with fire, because Gabbar can not be easily erased from our mind. New look Gabbar will/won't be accepted by the people, only time will tell.
OK, its true that old movies have always been remade across the world. But even then there are some classics that can never be remade with any great success. There is hardly any other movie in Hindi Cinema that can be as everlasting, timeless and memorable as Sholay. Even the presence of Amitabh (who had a big part in the success of the original) can ever enable a credible remake of 'the' Sholay. Every character of the original was a masterpiece. And the movie was so much bigger than the sum if its part. Infact, more than Jai, Veeru and Thakur, it'll be the pivotal character of Gabbar Singh which would be most irreplaceable. Even by Mr. Bachchan himself. Looks like RGV wants to have another flop on his hands. Long Live Sholay.
