Though I have mixed feelings about the movie, I think it's definitely worth a watch and a notch above the rest of the junk coming out from the Bollywood outlets every week. The first half is very entertaining and well directed with a tight storyline and very good script. You literaly wished you had a notepad to note down the shayariis. However, The second half is the spoiler as it drags, the story loses pace and reality, the chemistry between Aamir and Kajol is slightly lost and with big gaping holes in the storyline, you are left with many questions starting "Why" and "How" in your mind. It's a typical Yash Chopra production where the heart rules the mind, logic and common sense. The actions are over-dramatic, soap opera type... too unrealistic for the real world.
Fanaa is definitely worth the hype. The movie is very good and amir bollwood king amir the real hero in indian film industreis fanaa very good movie amir i am with all day all time every seconds.
The first half of the movie is quite good and enchanting and then like typical Bollywood movies they lose the trail and the story. The second half is an unbelievable, shoddy and slow and could as well be another movie altogether. It tries mixing high jinks of Bond movie chases with very wooden acting by all concerned. I'd say go for the first half and then walk out in the Intermission. You will cherish Aamir and Kajol for their lovely acting and looks.
A lot of expection from the movie but not even a penny came in return. Worthless and very very disappointing movie. Kojol looks beautiful but has little scope to show her skills. the movie has nothing else to offer.
Definetly not worth the hype. If you watch this movie then you are wasting your time. I saw it the other day and wasted my time and money. Bollywood is in deep trouble from the past 3 or 4 yrs. They are making senseless movies. I wonder why they are investing so much in movies which don't even run for 3 weeks.
Fanaa was a pretty average movie. It began well but got boring pretty soon. In fact after the first half the movie began to drag because there was not much story to be told in the movie. Considering the bad quality of movies released recently though, I am sure this movie will be a big hit.
hi, im surprised coz i never thot amir and kajol would do such a movie, a movie with such a bad script! i dont think it was worth the hype at all. i didnt like it. i did expect a lot from the movie, but it wasnt something i had in mind or in that case in ppl's minds. bad decision!
