Kajol is blind, truly ??? I couldnt see that in the movie. And the teacher let the girls get laid, its ridiculous. The transition of a lover to a terrorist should be in a phased manner, not so abrupt . Kudos to Jr Rehan , the only motivating factor, he is so cute and acted great. Aaamir's nanaji was just waiting kajol to shoot him and to hell with, tabu shot nanaji in her first attempt too.
Guys, iam spellbound after seeing this idiotic movie, and i agree with Rajeev , i wish i know malayalam.
It is the worst of movies that i had ever seen in the recent days.A top starer movie..didnt ever need the masala that did the bore up job in the movie (its the same old CHAYAGEET that we had in Doordarshan)
It was a movie that gave me severe headaches... after moving off from the theatre..People in gujarat are really lucky.... as its not to be screened....!!
I request each one of you, please do not go and watch this movie.
Waste of money, time, energy much to my chagrin!Arguably the most overhyped film of the year and what a letdown by everyone--Aamir, Kajol and kunal....Firstly, Aamir has gone on record to repeat it that he LOVED the script! Now this might sound rude, but WHATTTTTTT, when in his right senses, made him think that this cliched pathetic script would burgeon to become a blockbuster??I have always respected Aamir for doing offbeat films and for not swimming with the tide, but what a disappointment especially after a cult film like RDB which stirred the nonchalence out of every person! Coming to Kajol, She turned down Karan Johar\'s KANK but green signalled Fanaa!!!Beats me how(I\'m not saying that KANK is going to be a gem) but HOW did she agree to do this? No doubt, her performance was quite good, but sadly, a performance itself wouldnt bail out a opprobrious script! Aamir and Kajol revealed that the script is the most important and they wouldnt sign a movie which has no strong script!Eat your hats !!! But, as i said, the thinking movie connoisseur would abhor it, the average person who goes to a movie for some masala, frollicking, random songs and fights would love it!
I think this review in The Telegraph in Calcutta best sums up Fanaa. And it's so well written. Another Bengali here but more SENer...
Tale of two stars and us Stories take a backseat when a perfect pair fills the big screen. Pratim D. Gupta falls prey to the magnetic charm of Aamir and Kajol in Fanaa
Kunal Kohlis a lucky man. Yes, clever too. On third thoughts, maybe a tad adventurous. Certainly a big Bollywood buff. And, of course, a man with a big heart. Hes managed to pluck out the two brightest stars from the Mumbai sky and light up theatres, warming the hearts of hum and tum.
His constellation may not have been that well constructed. The Fanaa script has dollops of the two elements they ask you to avoid at screenwriting schools convenience and coincidence. The loopholes in the storyline are large enough for King Kong to slip through.
Then, theres that eternal yearning to stir up a Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. The mom-and-daughter machination of a dream shehzada the andekha, anjaana type.
