how come rediff published this review ? did anyone review it ? man, this guy, rajasen has gone crazy. who the hell is he to talk abt south food & their culture. is he a saudi siekh. this is what a typical ignorant indian will have belief towards any other part of india. as i grew up n south, i can clearly say that rajnikant's latest movie made around rs 60 crores and till date, its the highest profit made movie in india. who the f*&( is he to talk abt our superstar ? rediff, pls. ban this kind of reviewers. anniyan is more of a technical wonder than film. each and every camera angel and australian slicing techniques, man, north indian directors wudnt even knew abt it. even mr.ramgopal verma told in his interview that tamil films r the best in technical marvel. so, rediff and mr.sen owns a apology for this kind of review.
The comments against south by the reviewer is a typical example of North Indian attitude towards South Indian.
Majority of North Indians (not all) treat south India with racist prejudice.
Majority of North Indians are not even aware that there 4 different languages for the 4 South Indian states.
The way a south Indian is portryed in Hindi Movie shows total lack of knowledge of South India in North.
In spite of the fact majority of the problems like poverty, corruption etc are more faced in the North than in South, they find fault not in their own place but in South.
South India is contributing more to overall progress of the country and it high time the North mend its ways.
I hate bangla food too... I hate the mustard oil that they use and THE SMELL of their food makes me puke! I live in US and believe me there have been atleast 2/3 northindian restaurants here that got caught with health inspectors for serving stale food.chappatis has fungus! this is quality of north food whereas south foods are prepared fresh. I am talking about food as this review seems to focus on food rather than movie. What kind of website does this rediff run?
Raja sen pls resign or rediff sack this idiot. haiyo wat a stupid idiot fanatic of bollywood films mr .raja gives stupid review for a great indian film.

Hey dull dude...you ain't chatting here...get your english right!you have english crisis huh???not aparachit crisis!!
This reviewer needs to open their mind up to reading Subtitles. I live in the US and love all Foreign movies so I have to read the subtitles. I started my Indian movie watching with Bollywood movies a few years ago and I loved them, but recently most of them have bad production values, boring songs and are stolen stories from Hollywood. Except for the rare good YasRaj productions I haven\\\'t seen a good one in a while. The Tamil and Telugu films have far surpassed the Hindi cinema at the moment. The good ones and that includes The Rajni films are great fun to watch, with goods songs, acting and special effects. Greater care is even taken with the DVD production which make EROS DVD\\\'s look awful in comparison. .....so in my opinion , this reviewer needs to do a little more research before making critical remarks about South Indian films...and the food!!
