SHAME!!!!
by BringItOn on Jun 23, 2006 12:52 AM

Had it been a movie against Mohammed, The Super Court of India would have banned it.. VIOLENCE does work after all...

Christians show love and do a lot of charity work. Whats wrong if their sentiments are considered..

Stony hearted Hypocrites!!!

Guess what? Christ himself didnt answer when persecuted. Whats a movie after all.. Coz, the day is coming when the "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory"

Till then... fulfill ye the lusts of your father( the devil) Sinners!!..

Thank's heaven somebody see's reason!
by Chandra on Jun 22, 2006 09:26 PM

This news item should have been more elaborate with all the comments the judge has observed during his delivery of judgement...having read that in some other news item am glad we certainly have some sensible (Judge Mr Raghuram) people which makes INDIA tick! Am glad the wrong has been undone with this judgement where even after the release by the Censor board authority where some vested interests in AP on the representation's of miniscule people went to the extent of ban without going into the merits of the case.

what now YSR?
by Madhav on Jun 22, 2006 08:29 AM

I think now YSR's congress govt lost to the court regarding this judgement, the Vatican will stop funds to the AP state congress and YSR's personal pocket till he goes to the vatican, bows like a humble servant in front of Mr.Benedict and seeks forgiveness for his defeat at the hands of the Pagan Indian high court. Perhaps Mr.Benedict will now call out for an all-our crusade against the Pagan indian judiciary, lets wait and watch.

Da Vinci Ban
by Aaron Arpi on Jun 22, 2006 06:00 AM

Well - the courts once again come to the rescue.

Politicians ought to learn from such experiences.

I wonder what the Catholic Secular Front (YES thats the name) has to say now - their hunger strike, etc.

by Anurag Mishra on Jun 21, 2006 09:27 PM

Shouldn't it serve the notice to government as well for violating the independence of expression for the game of votes??

Appreciation to the judiciary system.
by Kishore Godavarthy on Jun 21, 2006 09:14 PM

Hi,
I highly appreciate the judiciary system that is getting tougher as the days progresses.I really do not understand as why the state government has to ban this movie.Haven't we made too much of mockery of being a democratic and secualar system? Many countries like U.S and larger christian communities through out the world have no objection for this movie, then why are we doing this. The people who wanted to ban the movie, have they read about the story or atleast have they read the novel? This is totally insane and the congress government is doing it's level best to destroy the society by flattering the minorities and they should stop this.

Thanks,
