rahman no doubt he simply has no comparison,and then there is shankar ehsan loy they too have quality music,and finally jatin-lalit.how can u forget them.the others just copy music.
There is no match to A R Rahman in bollywood. He is the only music direction after R D Burman who makes each and every tune work with his magic. He is consistent and a World ambassador to the indian music and culture.
ARR is easily the best in bollywood. but Illayaraja with his over 700 movies in all languages and a royal symphony (first by an asian) is the living legend.
I am aa listener of all language music from regional language to Arabic. I felt only one thing AR Rehamn is the best Music director India has produced along with Music Mastereo Ilayaraja. But Bollywoood fans had no luck to Hear Ilayaraja music to the top.Only they r familier with sadma. But Rahman has little edege over him when comes in singer selection and all. He is the Baap of Indian Music Now. Its Foolish to compare him with others like Shankar....Anu Malik and Himesh. They are just babies in front of them My Frirnds...If u want to hear What Rahman is Just hear his tamil TAJMAHAL. its just a example.
