I saw the movie reading the reviews. The movie is just OK. Actually after 15 minutes I felt as if I shud walk out. I agree that the movie has less vulgarity as compared to other movies in the same category. But that does not help the movie to make it funny. I tried to laugh using the laughing therapy which laughter clubs teach us but nothing was working. Ajay Devgan can't act in comedy movies. Only person who shines is Sharman Joshi. Better watch the movie at home when the CDs are released. What say all ?.
The movie is quite good. Its a complete time pass. Please guys leave ur mind at home if ur going for this movie. Its not a great comedy. But its atime pass flick. You will love the chemistry. I think arshad and tusshar were quite good. I think just watch this movie for very vibrant camerawork and good dialogues (some very catchy lines) So a time pass movie!!!
Rimi is the gorgeous girl with a lot of potential. I liked her from her first film Hungama. Keep it up babe. All other actresses like Bipasha, Sherawat etc. are full of boob show and no sense of comic timing or acting. Even they do not have good features. Rimi is a complete package.

this seems to be a copy of malayalam movie kakkakuyil which was directed by priyadarshan and not sivaraman as mentioned in this thread
This movie is the remake of malayalam HIT movie named "KAKKAKUYIL" directed by priyadarshan. It came in all version in south india- kannada, tamil, telugu. Atlast now in hindi. Ofcourse Ajay devgan was not the rite person for this movie who cannot do a proper comedy bcos of his wooden face.
i cant understand why the screenplay writers of bollywood cant come up with any of thier original story lines anymore.....priyadarshan itself makes a mockery of himself by turning all the old hits of malayalam into present day hindi comic films....now heres another rip off from a malayalam movie...which is....Kakkakuyil (2001) by director Sivaraman....which stars Mukhesh and Mohanlal....God how long can Bollywood cinema survive like this...dont they have any original ideas....why look to other languages for thier films when u r the biggest film industry in the country and boast of exteremly talented stars like Aamir Khan, Nana Patekar, Ajay Devagan and the likes

sorry to inform U that golmaal is not based on any malyalam film, but its based on a play. The malyalam film you are reffering is also officialy based on teh same original play.
Hi, guys. the movie Golmaal, its main plot is based on a malayalam film "KAKAKUYIL"(*ing Mohanlal and Mukesh). The plot is same. Hope this movie works as the south movie worked....
Hey Where's Raja Sen?? Have you really sacked him off review section? Why? Bcoz some stupid people think he's not a good reviewer...Actually he's one of the best...Far better than Taran Adarsh or any other. Bring him back.
