Thanks for the kannada cinema info on Rediff. But still one more drawback is karnataka people in other states like Maharashtra are not getting the chance to view the movies like JOGI or Amrutha dhare. Please hilight on this issue in next article. I Hope u will do this and plesae continue ur great job.
Surely 2005 has been a good year for kannada cinema with string of superhits.People have now begun to show interest in watching kannada films and they are releasing in large number of theatres.Film 'Jogi' was a classic movie.Even nowdays the multiplexes are screening kannada movies and are doing well.I couldnt get tickets for Jogi in a multiplex even on 90th day of its running. We extend all support to good kannada films and wish 2006 is even more better
The article on the whole was good, but there were a couple of very obvious mistakes, which I wish, the author had taken care of. Like the name of the actor in the second picture being Vijay Raghavendra and not as posted, and the name of the movie wrongly printed as "Tantheke.." This is not the first time I've seen mistakes like these with regard to Kannada actors/movies. My sincere advice to all is if you do not know to spell Kannada words properly or are not sure, you do not have to. That's much better than just writing incorrectly.
Quality comes at a price. One can expect good quality films if everyone supports the film industry by watching atleast the good kannada films releases. This way we can help promote Kannada cinema and Karnataka's culture as a whole.
