I like your reviews and all........I know you are a film critic and all.......but if you could pull back your comments on AMITABH BACHCHAN, it would be less nasty to the ears.
I am guy who has seen almost all hindi and english movies 1st day. Family is an amazing movie and much better than Zinda that's been praised so much in the reviews. My friend slept by the end of Zinda.
Family is a great movie although the story might be a little bollywood old style but then Rajkumar santoshi (legendry director of Damini, Andaz apnana , Ghayal, Ghatak, Legend of bhagat singh, Khaakee) does a great job from the newcomer hero n amitabh who is as usual fantastic. You have to watch this movie for Amitabhs great acting n akshays small cameo.
Don't care bout this review the movie is gr8 and much better than other new movies (Zinda n Bluffmaster n Shikhar)
You know why I read Rediff reviews despite knowing they are full of crap? To get my daily dose of laughter. And guess what, Raja Sen provides it again! Now he is gonna teach Big B about acting...ha ha ho ho ho ... And just in case , Rediff doesn't understand, let me clarify : I am not laughing with you , but Rediff I am laughing *at* you!

Hey RajSen, Please write reviews in general english yarr...not in RSEngligh (Mr.Raja Sen's GRE/TOFEL English). If wanna go out of India , thats up to u to prepare for GRE/TOFEL.But why the hell you are using that english on common viewrs...hell with your english yaar.
i was waiting for a great release directed by rajkumar santhoshi and acted by Big icon bachan sahab with akshay kumar. It was becma cumbersom for to digest the movie. Being a great director he should not kill his image by directing this type of baseless movie it seems only producer can anything by investing a huge amount for the sake of their family not for the audiance. to amitabhji please dont go for just money you have a great image on everybody, dont sign this type of movie which is hampering and declining your images. thanks never go to see the movie. its just a waste
What a rubbish review.I went to see the movie yesterday and liked it and the reaction of the people coming out of the cinema was positive. I think the reviewer was not given any free tickets for the movie for which he is taking his revenge. sack him.
Hi, I like all of your reviews and I think they are almost perfect. Infact, lot of times I watch the movie after reading your review so at least I can keep my expectations in control !!! But being an avid fan of Big B, I thought if nothing then his presence and Akki's comic timing will be welll worth but alas.... It was a horrifying experience and I made exactly the same comment to my frien who was tortured with me that most old hands (Santoshi, Subash ghai etal.) have lost their touch and its the new breed (nikhil advani. mohit suri, siddarth) is doing much better. BTW the correction was that its Bangkok where Big B was based and not Dubai. Regards, Anil
