It is the same already over-exploited formula again coming into play for the umpteenth time. Same old chaos in the end which is really boring to watch.
I concentrated more on Govinda and forgot that it is Priyadarshan's movie.
I think Govinda has done his part as a team member, Cause movie is also about team work, Though Akshay was given a more important or i would rather say major role in the movie that is the reason he seems to be dominating in the movie, as far as the movie is concerned i think the other half they have not carefully planned so it looses the charm.
Bhagam Bhag was not a honest film by priyadarshan. Great no doubt he kept alive the genre of comedy but why take advantage and make films which looks the same. Forget about the film the characters the actors they all are predictable and boring take a break Mr priyan and pls go back to your original serious film making. We as fans accept a lot from you. Talking about BB overall ok. govinda was not at his best I think he was looking very uncomfortable with this group. Honestly the film was not balanced.
Hey Gullu, It's better to you to go fishing! Do you know what the Director of the film Mr. Priyadarshan told about the film? He said - 'put your brain at home and go to the theatre'. Seems you don't have that to put it at home. Shame on you for this type of review!
I was really frust after watching Dhoom2. I was waiting for review but when I read the review in TOI I ran to the theatre and got the ticket in black for 250 bucks and my god, what a crap... Now we should invite Gullu Bhaiya to find logics in the movie. DHOOM-2 1. Rhitik Landed on a moving train with Parachute on his back. (Newton's suicide) 2. Entry of Abhishek and Uday chopra (Mithun Shtyle stunts.) 3. Robotic bug climbing the displaying structure of the diamond resting at the "Height of eye level of the gaurds" but no body watching. 4. Abhishek, " Chor ko sirf chori karte hue hi pakda jaa sakta hai"... How funny ?? Just nab him, rest can be done in the Lock up. BHAAGAM-BHAAG 1. Timing of Comedy : Govinda to Police comissioner, "Chaliye na, ab sabse jayada aap hi late kar rahe hein" 2. Drunkyard Shakti Kapoor entering in a car form one side and and exiting from other and saying, "arre itni kaldi pahunch gaye ??"
and if Mr Gullu is so much concerned about the rehearsal then every actor should be shown on the sh*t pot also because this is also a basic activity of an drama actor. Common Gullu, everything is not necessary to show ...
As I am from the state of Kerala, It is pity to say that Priyadarshan is just remaking the winning Malayalam movies to Hindi, some of them done by other directors. Even most of his malayalam movies consist of some parts picked from hindi, tamil movies. He never deserve any honor, as a director ( better to say 'converter' ??)
Why movie critics are always finding logics in Non-YashChopra movies only ????
BhagamBhag is a nice healthy comedy. Govinda is good. If he would have been similar to Raja Babu then these critics would have said he is repeating himself. Now if he doing a different type of role (a dumbo guy) then also these critics have a problem.
If Karan Johar is making all his films in a similar style these critics are appreciating him saying "he has a different style of making films." But if Priyadarshan has a style, critics are saying he is repetetive... Why these guys are so bias ???
Every Yash chopra movie starts with a guy and a gal falling in love and singing a song with gal in chiffon sari and in shimla and these critics never find any logic there. In Fanaa, army guys said to Zooni that we will come tomorrow morning and rescue you and your son realising that she has "NUCLEAR BOMB TRIGGER" with her. Can't they go in the night?? News channels are reporting about aamir and displaying the phone numbers, can't rishi kapoor call them?? what was the need to try to be Arnold ?? But the movie was 4 star. My Foot.

Excellent, Buddy. I think Yashraj pays Rediff reviwers for a good review. Not only Dhoom-2, I felt very bored with Kabul Express, which rediff gave 4 star. Dhoom 2 was absolutely bakwas. The stunts were so stupid. And Aditya Chopra presented the female-leads in least-possible clothes. This eye-candy got 4 star. And a clean family enetertainer gets 2 star.
