There are far more pressing urgencies for the society. Take the example of the roads, power and dirty water which we are forced to suffer daily. A cinema goer has a choice. No one is forcing him to watch a vulgar movie. It should not be allowed to protest against movies which are approved by censor board.
Now a days Hindi fils are becoming more and more vulgar. This is because of copying western type movies and injecting that culcture into Indian movies by the new generation film makers. Aishwarya was making a statement on the day of Miss world contest that she like Indira Gandhi as a model woman. If Idira Gandhi was alive she would have kept Ash behind bars. Ash should think about the growing children on India, who will be watching these kind of films. Her act is totally deplorable.
I wonder why Indians are so litigious and seek legal action for the most frivolous things!? Why don't we concentrate on REAL issues which dog this nation?
There can not be any valid case against both Ash and Hrithik as it is about the scene from the film which is released in accordance with valid certificate from Censor Board of India.
Censor board always had a option and right to cut the scenes and then passed the film. But the didn't.
So one can only file a case against Censor Board and not against any of the actos acting in the film
hi this is not the first time that the people are seeing actors kissing on the Indian screen. But now when the same is the case in DHOOM2 ,a case was filed against aish and hrithik. They claim that the youth and family felt obscene. What happened to them when Imran Hashmi did this in almost every of his movie???Ok just feel that the scene is vulgar, what happened to the sensor board, why didn't the board stopped the film from releasing??.I feel that the rules for this should be designed very strictly and the movies not adhering to these specified rules should not be given permission to be released.
What happened to lawyers in India? If that scene in Dhoom2 is obscene then what do you say about movies like Murder and others and other channels and pop albums. Oh gimme a break!! Is this a publicity stunt? Whatever it is, justice should be given to all movies. Then cases should be files against all the other bollywood movies.
This is arrant rubbish; such suits should be summarily dismissed; there is no explicit right, either constitutional or ethical, to "not be offended". It is high time we enacted a law that allows for freedom of expression in those very words. Those who find something offensive to watch should just stay away; they are welcome to create their own movies.
