I think Rafi saab din't get what he deserve. As a great singer of 1950s to 1980s whos voice gave numerous hit songs to this nation deserve Dadasaheb Palke Award. I only think that by giving Dadasaheb award his dues will be filled.
I think a Padma Shri and a National Award was not enough for this legend. He Should have been also been honoured posthumously with the Bharat Ratna and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Mohammad Rafi did not get his due.
yes he had been gifted the most meldious voice, and i heard he was good at his work, and good person, yes he would have entitled dada sahab palke award, as any person who whose career in tinsle town world
The film fraternity has forgotten Rafisab. It is a shame that such vain indivisuals exist in our society.Self love is the best love in this industry. The mirror grows old looking at the faces of these indivisuals. Not one filmstar, producer or a director, has in any of the awards functions, paid tributes to the greatest singer of our times.Tributes begin and end with Latadidi,Ashadidi and Kishoreda.Hey,man,Lataji and Ashaji are the greatest and they are still alive and kicking by God's grace. We don't need people to tell us how great they are nor do we need them to tell us that Rafisab was the greatest.Filmwallas,do not ever talk about Rafisab, ever. You will be insulting a gentleman.

I agree with u 100%! In 80's, Asha Bhosle said "Suresh Wadekar is as good as Rafi Saab"! I was totally shocked to hear her say this in Chicago Concert! I still can't forgive her for such a low comment on Rafi Saab! According to Sonu Nigam, Rafi saab's name in recording rooms is taboo....i wonder why? How can filmi ppl treat such a humble and polite person...I just don't get it!
Indian Filmi personalities always praise Lata like anything but they never ever say anything abt rafi saab! Its totally shameful! Rafi saab's contribution to industry is beyong anybody doubt. In my humble opinion, he was the greatest singer of India. I think, fans miss him more then film industry!
