Jahnu Barua is a well known personality in Assam and has won many National Awards for his films which has dealt with social issues...I am a big fan of him and is really happy to see him venturing into the hindi films...I wish him good luck and hope that he keeps on making Good and meaningful films which is rare in today's film industry!!!! without compromising on his values and principles....Kudos to Jahnu Barua!!!

Its a good film with a message to all. We can see how different members in the family after their parents have a problem like this. I watched the movie and I'll say more movie should be made. There are lots of different subjects to be put on screen and convey message through movies.
I saw the movie this sunday and it was worth a watch. Anupam Kher has given a SUPERB performance. His emotions, body language everything is fantastic. This is his best performance after Saransh. Urmila has shown that she is one of the best actresses on her genre. No other actress could have performed as excellent as urmila. She deserves an award for it. This movie is about Gandhiji, his values, his thoughts. Today's generation don't know what Mahatma Gandhi was. For them he was the leader of Indian Freedom Struggle and they know about him only through the history books which they study in school for the sake of marks and then forget. Every Indian should see this movie atleast once.
MAINE GANDHI KO NAHI MARA is a must watch movie. Though it tries to deal with many issues and dont get succeeded completly still very effective and shake your mind and hearts.
We have to take it as experimental movie and try to convey strong and appropriate message.It really make us think that why we forgot the Gandhi only last indinan with substance?Movie does atleast make us think about gandhian thoughts and its relavance today. Though movie has its flaws like till interval sometimes its difficult to assume weather the movie is about alzheimer diesaes of about gandhi as lack of clarity and continuity.Still one has to think that how many movie makers have courage to make a movie like this...
Acting wise Anumpam kher is at his best.No words to describe his acting.Urmila also tries to compete with him and got succeeded.Surprize pacakge of the movie is the actor who plays the character Addy with his convincing acting.
I guess we should encourage this kind of movie by watching it so more and more movie makers show courage to make a movie on real and current issues.
