Recently he had come to the Park Sheraton hotel for promoting a product(i guess it was for a watch).Luckily my friend is working there as a chef trainee. So i jus went there to look around the place with my pals and to my surprise i saw him.But i still could not believe my eyes coz i have never seen a bollywood hero in my lifetime.I was not sure but as soon as the press got near him i confirmed it.Me and my friends were excited to see him.We could not get near him as there were lot of people around. So happy to think about it even now that i saw a star.Cheers!!!!
hey i met SRK in lilavati hospital, bandra wen he came to visit govinda's wife! he was mobbed immediately but was very patient and signed all the autographs!! he is truly the best!! li
I'm a diehard fan of SRK right from his Fauji days .I was only 11 then. I remember both me and my sister used to wait for his serial DARIYA DIL,it used to come late night and as kids we were not allowed to stay up late;but both of us wud stay up on the pretext of studying and watch his serial only to catch a glimpse of him.I had never imagined that i would be able to see him in person ever, but thanks to my dear husband who got tickets for TEMPATION 2004 tour at NEW JERSEY and guess what it was a surprise !!During the show SRK came right in the middle of audience and he was at an arm length from us;but i was so overwhelmed that i cudn't ask for an autograph or shake hands with him, it was just awesome to see him that close.I'll always cherish that moment in my life.I wish him all the luck on his 40th birthday and hope that we'll get to watch more of him in the coming years. Keep up the good work SHAHRUKH !
ive never met him but i do know a person with a such a fan following surely has to be someone truly a superstar.weve never had a superstar after amitabh bachchan.but who better to fit the bill none other than shah rukh?A great actor and one of the most loved by bollywood.happy birthday sir.and wish u all the very best in whatever u do. rgds, terry.
SRK..... I met him in Delhi wh4en I was in a scool and he was working with my cousin Mandeep Singh in a hindi sope on DD, my cousin introduced him to me and I really liked him the way he spoke to me and greeted me. I worked in an event management company in Bombay and did lot of shows with him where I found him a bit different as I was talking to a big STAR then but really was not happy with his attitude sometimes, sometimes he will be really nice but sometimes he will be rude and arogant, but then I think its not just him but most of the Stars do get bit arogant. End of the day he is a Star and he proved himself, we should just ignore everything else... cheers Sharukh... happy 40th Birthday
It was way back in summer of 1991 at Kasauli where I bumped into a shooting party. My official vehicle was stopped by a few young men who asked me to wait for some time before a road scene involving Raghuveer Yadav got completed.I got irritated as I had to immediately come back to Shimla due to some pressing work there. Kasauli being very small hillytown there are very limited number of roads. since I had to use that road only I asked them to take off the roadblock immediately. Then a youngman who was of my same age came to me and politely asked me to wait for 10 minutes. The girls were thronging him and were calling him Rajan.Somebody told me that he is Shahrukh Khan the famous TV star of the serial circus. He came across as a person who is full of energy and vibrance.
I distinctly remeber this small but significant event. There was an earthquake in Latur, Maharashtra in 1992 and the filmstars in Bomaby had taken out a procession from Bandra to Colaba(in trucks). There were many trucks and all filmstars were on top of the trucks. However I remember that I noticed Shah Rukh siting on the bonnet( if I may so call it) of a truck and shaking hands with everyone. I too surged ahead and shook hands with him saying " Hi Shahrukh bhai" . He shook hands firmly. His movie " Bazigar" had not yet been released but there was a whiff that post-Bazigar,which was incidentally, is first solo movie would catapult Shah Rukh to superstardom. This came true as Shahrukh really created history after that. May he live long enough and happily.God Bless him.
I adore SRK since DDLJ; he's one of the most talented & charming actors today. I have a website about him running since 7 years. Naturally it would be a dream-come-true to see him, having invested all that time protecting his image from friends who insisted he's stuck up and unbothered about his fan-following amongst other things... So, I was roaming Leicester Square with my best friend 2 years ago and he wanted to get me a gift. I told him that if he must, he has to get me SRK - that's it! He evidently thought I was being ridiculous. Then, suddenly I heard him scream "SHRU, its SHAHRUKH!" I chuckled saying, "really funny!" He shook me and said, "Look, it's him!" There he was, with his wife, son & bodyguard. I was apprehensive, nervous & excited at the same time! We collected our courage and went up to him; as soon as we did, all fears disappeared. He was so grounded & sweet; he greeted us & offered to sign an autograph. Unluckily, I only had an old receipt & no pen. He even asked his crew if anyone had a pen. But no luck! He patted me on the head & said, "So sorry, maybe next time." Till today I admire him for his simplicity & wish for him the best...
ya i did that was in 1996 he was shoting for the movie army with srideviand they were shoting for a song paagal munda sooni kudi
he was quite jovial and kept on pulling sridevi s leg by teasing her and ragging her and he even managed to hold her cheek in a same song seq i rem sri ws not in favour of this scence but the director was ken on hving it
in fact sri played spoil sport by not talking to anyone during the shoting while khan ws cool even though je had a small role in the movie
