I have seen the malayalam version of this movie and I have to agree with Joe. There is no call for "obsession with any actor" as ajay has put it, but just the simple truth that the malayalam movie, made in 1985, is far better and hilarious than the new hindi movie!!!In fact, they cannot be even compared!!!Akshay might have given his best performance, but i would say his best performance is not close to MohanLal's performance, as he did 20 years ago!!!
Ajay, i would say, you are the one obsessed with hindi actors!!!And as for Priyadarshan's comment, yes, salman was good in the movie, but mohanlal is still far better than both akshay and salman together from what i have seen!!!see his movies before you comment!!!
And finally, i am not from that region but i can appreciate the better thing when i see it.
I am watching the movie as I write this....this is one of the most stupidiest movie....where there is no humor....no sense...no timings......I wonder how come Mr Raja Sen gave such good remarks for this movie....

I completely disagree with the reviewer. This movie is absolutely senseless, meaningless. One who wrote this review obviously don't know how to write reviews. I have been watching his reviews and often his reviews are flipped. When he says the movies are flop, boring, those movies turn out to be good. Anyway after watching this movie, the only feeling I had was I was wondering to myself if I watched one movie or trailers of several movies bundled into one movie. So much was the height of non sense.
