I had a n opportunity to meet with Duttsaab a couple of times . He was the Chief Guest at one of the Student Gatherings at the Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Architecture in Mumbai. He and I were at the Podium besides Dr. Patil and Vijay and Ajikya Patil. He made a great impact on me when we were chatting about "Cancer Research" after the Podim session. He had promised me that he was totally devoted to helping find a cure for cancer. He was going to come to the US and I would have joined him on his mission here in the US, as I have been in Pharmaceutical Reseach with Pfizer, USA for the last 24 years! Duttsaab left a great legacy behind him.
The sudden demice of Sunil Dutt is not only a loss to the Dutt's but also to the people whose faith in morality,honesty,cleaniness in public life,simplicity,surviving against all odds is still entact.The respect & love which Mr.Dutt commanded across all sections of society irrespective of age,caste,creed & color is hard to attain in today's world.He was a perfect gentleman,a rare blend of the reflection of indian psyche.May his soul rest in peace and may almighty shower his love & affection to his family in all their thich and thin.
Sunil dutt was a greeat personality.very nice human being who are rarely found in this world. he was the one who lived not for himself but for others.MAY GOD BLESS HIM WHER EVER HE IS.
Indian Cinema has lost a versatile actor and India has lost a Secular human being. The difference betwee Dutt Saheb and other actors of his generation and later also is-he leaves behind an impresion in the mind of the audience as to what needs to be done in real life when such a situation arises. I am a fan of his and I miss this great gentleman who always keeps smiling. May his soul rest in peace.
Sure, we are all left alone by a blank spot,as Duttsaheb has departed...a blank spot because he gave the films of our culture, by superb acting and a true human subject.New so called stars have a directions now to reflect india...please fill in the empty blank spot......if you can. My deepest sympathy for sanjay and your family....manish usa....
i deeply condole the demise of dutt saheb i think not only did bollywood lose a great person who had enacted many roles in his time but the nation lost a great politician. Bollywood has lost one of its golden era legends it s really a sad day for all
i remember attending on of sunil duttji's latest election addresses... he merely told us all a story there instead of canvessing or talking like a politician... his recount was inspiring enough to touch a thousand lives.. and thats probably why the people just love him... there was clearly no indications of power or dirty politics in his speeches... just the message of peace and progress... together... only if some of his colleagues could take some time off to mull on this...
priya will take after her father or rather should... sanjay is very popular and has it in him... just that i pray he realizes the greatness of his father and someday he too would tread the path his great father did...
may duttsaab's continue to touch others lives.. and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
Baba... You have to take care of your self and your family. Dutt Sab is gone but still fresh and lively in everyones mind. His physical absence will matter a lot to you. He was a mentor and a Godfather for you. As he said in the 2 hr talk to you ,I too add that you should now settle down, get married and bring your daughter back....
