No one need be associated with Sunil Dutt saab to know him personally. The personality of such human beings can be known from the acts that they do to the humanity.
He is such a wonderful human being. What else can be the evidence to his love for the people that he got elected many times. Whatever he says he does. His deeds do not contradict his speech. That is SUNIL DUTT. He not only strived for the poor and disease stricken but also contributed a lot to the happiness of the Soldiers protecting us and our contry at the border.
Really such persons are rare to be found (not only in personal life but also in political life he amde a mark for himself).
I wish that his soul rest in peace and may GOD create many more such human beings.
Just a week before his death, sunil dutt was served a strongly worded show cause notice seeking his explaination as to why action should not be taken against him for his 8th may public meet at juhu, in his constituency.
At that meeting he had spoken against sanjay nirupam and his entry to congress. But nirupam who had managed his backdoor entry in the congress through margaret alva and the shetty lobby of bombay, was upset. He and his lobby prevailed over alva, who in turn convinced the congress president mrs. Gandhi to issue the notice.
He was a worried man, first time in politics. A five time sitting m.p. was asked to explain why he objected to his critic being admitted to the party....! It was a matter of shame for the congress as well as the grass root worker in the party. It is also a matter of shame for any self respecting individual.
He was devastated, he had discussed this issue with his family, but not with his party men. He was yet to formulate a reply. He refused all functions, was continuously low in his mood. A day before his demise, i called him up to invite him for a function, but he didnt oblige. Priya said he was very sick and depressed. Next day he died.
Its very difficult for me to express my thoughts abt dutt sahab, cause i lost my "hero". he was my "IDEAL". like him, i want to do something good for poor, specially street children. MAY GOD GIVE HIM PLACE IN "JANNAT". i will miss u dutt sahab.
