I think by not giving the best actor award to SHAH RUKH KHAN for SWADES will decrease the worth of National Awards. The people will think that no one in jurry of National Awards wants to face reality. In my mind Shah Rukh Should not be unhappy with this decision, Because in the hearts of people he is the winner not National Awards. I hope him win an Oscar for his brilliant, realistic and patriotical perfomance in Swades.
Saif getting the National Award that too for HUM TUM... not fair. Shahrukh would have been the best option for Swades. Aish in RAINCOAT was wonderful..pchh..Poor Selection.
I don't think saif performance in Humtum is award winning performance. How the jury selected him. SRK should have got this for his brilliant performance in the Swades.
On what basis the selectors judged Saif. B'cos he had Tom Cruise kind of look with long hair? B'cos he was writing the cartoon? . This unfair to the contenders by chhosing Wrongun
u truly believe that saif deserve the award for best actor.he was just great in the movie and its not a hard and fast rule that national award should be given to serious cinema.As for sharukh though he was good in the movie but nothing extraordinary.And moreover the movie swadesh was not good or entertaining eough.a piece of advice for ashutosh gowatrikar stop selling indian poverty,we have more to india than draghts poverty sufferings,
