Madhur has done a great job by showing the hollowness of the glittiring upper class world. Keep on Madhur...... You had shown true reflection of the society....
TWO MAJOR objections : Obj. No 1 Madhavi, the jouno's, judgemental stand on the Gay encounter between her lover ( Tarun) and friend( Abhishek) is like an over reaction. If she cud understand the need for compromises being done by : her air hostess chum (who marries an aging hotel baron), the aspiring starlet ( who gets back with a spineless n slimy film star despite he having been the cause of her suicide attempt),the daughter of the Industrialist ( who is caught pants down as a pedophile): etc, etc,, why is her stand so STERN and Judgemental on the lover who was only compromising to get modelling assignments ? Obj No 2: Why are all gays shown as effeminate, girlish giddish and falmboyantly passionate with just a single agenda( sex)in our films? Our directors had better wake up to the reality that in real life, many gays are even more masculine, sauve, sophisticated and balanced than even the so called STRAIGHTS.. Hope Mr Bhandarkar reads this and in the next flick, restrains from the stereotypical portrayals of gays/cross dressers etc... These are not SICK or Silly air headed ppl.sir, they are just DIFFERENT.
Atul Kulkarni has been wasted. A better camera work would have made the film more memorable. An otherwise boring theme is handled with such sensitivity and intelligence. Madhur, I expect a lot from you! Congrats!!
