Last week I saw pictures of couple of Tamil actors visiting the victims hope instead of just posing before the paparazzi they too follow suit.
I am so glad to see a celebrity doing active social service to the people. There is a lesson for everybody in this and especially for the Tamil celebritries who are earning crores. Hats off to Vivek Oberoi for his contribution to the society when needed. Hope other celebrities will emulate him.
I really admire Vivek's initiative in helping the tsunami victims.It looks like he has done a lot of dedicated and honest work with the victims.Other celebrities have something to learn from him,dont they?
All of us are thankful to all those who are helping the Tsunami victims. It's not only monetary help that they need but also care, concern and support. We need more stars like Vivek to help them.
I have one question, without offending anybody, Where are all the models who strongly, on their ramp or beauty contests, always talk about helping and assiting the needy ? There might be many who may be doing it anonymously, giving a good example. I guess this is the time to show what they preach they practice.
Its really heartening to know that vivek oberoi and his family went to to tsunami affected areas of TN,and personally organized and supervised relief operation without any personal benefit motives and have really set an example which should be appriciated and folowed by one and all,and have made one thing clear...u need to be vivek oberoi to come in terms with harsh realities and be at the place in person rather than expressing opinions in media,unlike other reknowned celebrities whom we see and hear and read everyday in media.
