Saw the movie over the weekend and I have just one thing to say, "IT SUCKS BIGTIME". Rohan Sippy needs to be told, that to be a good director you need to be a good story teller, first. Unfortunately, he's not. The flick has absolutely nothing to hold the interest of the audience. In fact it bores you throughout. Rohan seriously needs to take up some other vacation while Baby B, needs to sever all ties with his buddies who claim to be directors. That's the only way he can hold on to his newfound success. As for me and my hubby who invested three hours on a weekend night and eoo bucks to get the tickets, "WE DEMAND A REFUND".... R U Listening Mr. Sippy???
I have stopped reading Raja sen's reviews, so no comments on the review. For movie , its a cool , fun , smart , time pass movie. All n all a likeable movie with good performances from all , specially Nana Patekar!
Watched the movie, and I have to say it's not bad. But the reviewer has made a small mistake here by saying "The cons and heists in the film are refreshingly original".... the movie is not that original. It's an adaptation from an Argentinian film "Nine Queens" or rather another newer American release from 2004 - "Criminal". Whereas the American writer menntions the original Movie in the credits, there is no such mention in our Desi version. Well that's nothing new isn't it...every other hindi movie is an inspiration from Hollywood movies nowadays. It's funny to see how closely 'Riteish' resembles 'Diego Luna', each playing the same character in the 2 versions.
Except for the twist at the end that comes across as refreshing, the movie is quite soporific--mainly because of lacklustre performances. Ram Gopal Verma was probably just being nice when he called Abhishek Bachhan a better actor than Amitabh Bachhan. You see none of the father's comic talent passed down to the son's DNA. Abhishek is very wooden. He seems to be trying for charismatic-cool while forgetting that the best comedy is created when the actor can make fun of himself/herself. Amitabh in Namak Halal is an example. I think Akshay Kumar, with his new-found comic talent, would have been a better choice for the male lead. Ritesh Deskmukh is able to tickle funny bones but cannot carry the movie on his own. Priyanka Chopra has nice thighs--that is where her contribution to the movie ends.

Abhishek Bachchan Rocks!!!!!!!! I think u r jealous about his looks, just see how girls r going mad about him. Do u believe that its because of his surname?????? If u feel so, i ve no doubt, u r jealous....
this is the first time even times of india has given bad reviews of an abhi-shuk movie.u can guess how bad it is then.same old bolywood story.abhi-shuk should better change his proffesion from acting to someback of camera work.he is a bad looking guy with awkward body.i think he should give up and leave space for other people who wanna make big in the industry.my message is to the journalists that dont publicize him bcoz of his surname.thats what journalism is allabout.
