Hi raja sen .u have praised vishal the director a lot.which i liked. u hv also mentioned all his films like makdee to maqbool but there is no mention abt his latest omkara.which i felt ur article is incomplete.

Very rarely we see people like Vishal who is a versatile persona, a finest music director around(Omkara, Machis, Satya, maqbool etc.), Story writer & Director he puts a very sincere image of him as a film artist paired with magnificent Gulzar saab, unlike some business men like chopras, johars & bhatts who just want to sell their films abroad.
This is masterpiece, as in the era of nonliterature works this is like a real surprise from Vishal .it shows that people are there who really want to make films on literature , stories on common man.After Vimal Roy ans Shyam Benegal he has the courage to make simple films( really tough to make) Great work, keep it up.

i could not see maqbool but i have seen Omkara which is not mentioned by the reviewer..before macchis if iam correct vishal has given music to some serials(for children)directed by gulzar like alice in the wonderland ..telecasted on doordarshan roughly 15 yr ago..he is very honest to whatever he does whether its directing a movie or music he put his soul and thats why whatever he takes up becomes a master piece..look at Omnkara how beutifuly the story is adapted..karan johar kind of people should be compelled to watch vishal's movies at least they will learn A B C of direction
