Jogi film is superb. Do not miss. The Story, Acting, Direction, Photogrophy, Songs, Music everything is superb. The mother son sentiment touches the heart.
jogi is very good film with good story line, music, and superb acting by shivvanna and arundathi nag, and it is far better than Hindi,tamil, telugu which have more violence and vulgar show by heroin,I request to my fellow kannidigas to watch the movie with ther family and friends and also tell non-kannidiagas living in Karnataka to watch it regards, raghavendra 31-08-2005

i am a movie buff.i am intrested in movies of different languages. i think jogi is one of the better film because 1. good storyline with good performances esp. shivaraj's and arundathi nag's( evolution of the story is good) 2. good script and camera work. 3. adequate budget , pertect locations. 4. presented in unique prem's style 5. BEST MUSIC by guru - music itself is enough to see the movie. 6. good pre release hype and marketing. isn't it enough to see a movie
I am native of Bidar district.I was in Bangalore on the day of jogi release,and i was very much eagerly waiting for jogis release because of Prem and Music ( Gurukiran)I was in a lodge near Gandhinagar & i could not able to stop my self and i went with my Bangalorian friend,I paid Rs.500/- per ticket watched jogi on 1st day 1st show.I & my friend enjoyed movie.I felt worth movie for Rs.500/-.The acting of Shivraj,Arundhati nag is good.Music is excelent,Photography is mindblowing(Equal to Yash raj banner films) Kannadigas watch any good movie of other languages now i request other language ppl to watch the Best kannada movie Jogi without any hesitation.to prove your self an pure Indian.Munesh Bidar

Jogi......What a film!!! The songs are simply Superb, Shivu\'s acting is outstanding, direction is Excellent and the character of Bhagyamma (played by Arundhati) is so heart touching.
This is really a top class Kannada film. The movie has got a historic opening and is sure to sustain it. Jogi deserves all the hype. Finally a Kannada movie that sends pulses racing. Hats off to Jogi\'s team. Especially for director Prem.
Jogi is a very good movie with a good performance from ShivarajKumar and Arundathi Nag. Surely Kannada movies are far above what we ppl think about them. I am sure the movie will be remade in Tamil and Telugu. It might be remade in Hindi audience as well. Even if it is remade in all langauges, ppl will hardly come to know that it's a Kananda remake.
Before a decade, we had RajiniKanth's "Mannan" remade by Chiranjeevi as "Gharana Mogudu". After seeing the success of tamil and telugu versions, Anil Kapoor remade it as "Laadla" and it also went on to become a blockbuster. But how many of us know that all these movies are scene-by-scene remake of legendary Rajkumar's "Anuraga aralithu".
The main point i want to convey is that Kannada Film Industry has got talented directors and actors but their reachability is very less. Even Kannadigas hesitate to watch Kannada movies. Ppl should come forward and support good movies like JOGI irrespective of the language.
How many of you know SWADES is a scene-to-scene remake of the Kananda movie "Chigurida Kanasu"? Shah Rukh Khan is way below Shivraj Kumar in acting department.
