Sa re ga ma pa drama
by anosua bhattacharjee on Jan 26, 2006 08:39 PM  | Hide replies

Hats off to Debojit for his good singing and patience. Debojit is getting the highest number of votes from North East, which unknown to many ignorant people like Awdesh and Himesh, consists of not only Assam but other six states. In other words, Debojit is getting votes not only from one state that is Assam but also from the other six states. All the seven states are very much part and parcel of India just as Haryana, UP or Andhra Pradesh. If votes of those regions are counted to support their respective contestants, then why not the support of Debojit from the seven states. So the love is for Debojit by the people of the seven states and nowhere the question of any militanat group comes in. May be it is to malign Debojit and the people of North East, some prank in the name of Ulfa is being played. We love Debojit like his singing and want to see him win the contest with flying colours. We are with you Debojit.

no sportmanship- Sa Re Ga Ma Pa
by Kavyashree on Jan 26, 2006 11:39 AM

Readers,
I think there is no sportsmanship among the competitors and this narrow mindedness will lead to failure in their music career.

They quit after knowing they did not get good number of votes. Just because they became finalists that doesnt mean they should become headlong and spoil the show. Rediff should educate people not to stand by the three stooges. :(

Why politics is taking place in this great show?
by Arun on Jan 26, 2006 10:10 AM

I read this article, I found this is 'just a stunt' to get popular. We enjoy your program and happy to see the upcoming talent across our nation. When Nihira was out of the challange we felt very sorry for her. People vote for anybody they like, they don't see the real talent, this is the same story as our Indian politics.

aadesh is playing politics
by prasenjit on Jan 26, 2006 01:56 AM  | Hide replies

sa raa ga ma is the best platform to nourish an upcoming talent, but from the very first episode we got hurt to see the music directors' vindictive attitude towards eachother,in the last round aadesh's remarks was totally bias towrds debojit.aadesh highlighted the point tht 80% of the vote for debojit has come from aasam n it is no justice for the other three, but he forget tht aasam is the place debojit is from n he is supose to get most of the votes from there,if we c then we will find himani's 90% vote has come from delhi n its not a big issue, aadesh is loosing groundn its the only way to dviate the audience, the article is also bias as ismail didnt get any chance to express his view

The whole show is being staged to attract viewership
by Pradeep on Jan 25, 2006 05:13 PM

We are here to watch contestants sing quality songs and not all the nonsense these so called judjes do . Why are their ( judges and contestants ) actions/comments shown on a musical show like sa re ga ma pa . It should be kept off air ..... They are trying to create actors out of singers ....... Any person even with little common sense would agree with me that the show is now beyond singing ....it now has all the ingredients of a T.V serial ( fighting , emotion , tears , revenge etc etc ) .....and I have every reason to believe that this is being staged to attract viewership ....

This article is Biased
by SR on Jan 23, 2006 08:08 AM

This author was paid by Aadesh to throw slur at Ismail Durbar, so far Ismail is the only mentor who supported all the contestants whole heartedly and frankly.

99% of the time Aadesh is biased towards his people, shame on Rediff for publishing this article and supporting this loser Aadesh Shrivastva.

All the 3 losers Himani, Vineet and Hema should be thrown out of the contest for playing such spoilsport and disturbing the program.

Shame on the author for writing such a biased article...
