Dear sir, I would like to share my experience with all your net surfers to beware of the methods adopted by AIR TEL to con the gullible public.The AIRTEL hsd started a scheme "DIRECT TO HOTE SEAT" CONTEST. In this contest subsciber of Airtel had to call no. 646 and answer the question asked by them. Each correct answer gives 5 points and the 6 persons who get the maximum points will be given direct entry to hot seat of KOUN BANEGA CARORPATI . I played this contest spending thousand of rupees on call charges and earned 4390 point by answering correctly 878 questions. I was send sms messages by Airtel urging me to keep playing stating that I was one of the leader of this contest.On 7th july 2005 on the last day of contest while answering the questions I was told that there are no more question to ask,and the winner will be informed.But to my dismay there was no call from airtel.Atleast they could have sent me the message stating the highest points earened by other contestant who could make to the final list.
The way whole contest was conducted leave to be explained.I strongly feel that so many persons like me would have got coned by AIRTEL.It was a bad experience. Please BEWARE.
Hi I am Tauheed, Indian, presently working in Dubai. It was yesterday 5th August Friday and weekend in Dubai. I was very excited to watch the KBC 2. I was watching time wherever I go, to reach home before 7:30pm (which 9pm Indian time). But I was very dissapointed when I see serial(which I dont like too) instead of KBC, in Star Plus. Then I called & asked my mom&sis back home in India, they said they are all watching KBC. I am really upset that time. I told my wife, we dont want Star Plus more. But we still have hope, that KBC will come into our TV screens in Dubai soon, coz as Amitabh said, Dont lose hope, thats the moral of the story.
Its really great to watch the Indian Superstar on the small screen. I wish I also get the chance of seeing him live, But with the kinds of schedule we have in IT, it is very difficult to fulfill my dreams. But still whatever he does is admired by the entire world.Hats off to him!!!!!!!!!!!
22/07/2000, episode #24 of KBC, a little drizzle outside lots more to pour in the studios for me - the most memorable day of my life! Rehearsals started at Film City early before the shoot. Weak-kneed, in the green room, the participants tried to relax. Rehearsals over in walked Mr.Bachchan. An awe struck me exchanged pleasantries with the man. The last contestant lasted 1 question. It was lights, camera, action for the next 10. Fastest Finger First, taking the pad in my hands as Amitji asked the question, I was fastest amongst the 3. I walked up - heart pounding, as my name was called. My dream ride began. During breaks, I got make up preference over Amitji, his words "Please don't go, Ashish is on fire" and Mr.Basu's encouraging words helped me go whole hog & I lasted-12 questions. For a 1st timer in any competition I was elated at my feat. I thanked the crew, Amitji & Mr. Basu for making a memorable episode. I had many 1st, 1st stage appearance (no cold feet, excitement overrode my anxiety), 1st on rehearsals (messed them up totally!), 1st on hot seat (Wow!) & the Crème de la Crème 1st momentmeeting the Don, the Shehanshah, the Millennium Man-Flesh&Blood, Yes!Amitabh Bachchan!
