As Tehelka correctly pointed out a few days ago, all news about Aishwarya Rai in the US is a part of big media plan to project a larger than life image of Aishwarya Rai back home. No one here in the US recognizes Aishwarya Rai, let alone getting zapped by her as suggested by a lot of Indian news papers.

well is dat true? dat its a plan to keep ash in d media hype n thus they r projectin a larger than life image back home? well i quite dont understand dat coz y wud Oprah Winfrey or for dat matter David Letterman bother to be a part of dat 'plan' to promote her?...all said n done...they mus hv found smthin strikin abt her or her achievements...coz its fact dat world known personalities would get to be on the shows dat she is...u n me would take yrs to be famous in our own country..n its a different cup of tea all together to feature in shows outside ur country..probably u cud say her looks get the welcomes evrywhere..n her brawny answers reduce or may be totally cut off her chances of bein invited newhere els!
n wats wid the western gear! i wud call her a hypocrite 4 dat...she signs only those holly movis where she's an indian "to bring india forth" n thus none where she's an italian or nethin else which actually wud widen her choices n actin abilities (dat is if she has dat to flaunt..)& please please represent us FULL-ON if u really wanna..get into d 'sensuous' sari lady...it would do wonders 4 n ur beautiful indians..please dump d blacks in ur wardrobe..we hv seen enuf neways.
