Hold it.Amitabh reflects our sense of heroism, struggle, romance,he is part of growth, from generation to generation. How can we crib if he is over-exposed.He sells because the masses and the classes love him.Long live Amitabh.
You all must not be knowing that he himself told in one interview that he does all these ads for the sake of the shareholders of the company (ABCL) and pays dividends out of this money. He never keeps single pie out of the above money
Overexposed? At the Age of 63 you have seen the actor in all forms and styles and still he manages to come up with tremendous variation in the roles that he portrays. Does that not show there remains so much still to see of the actor.
I think he is under-exposed. I hope that "Black" is the beginning of a creative phase of Mr. Bachchan who has been so heavily burdened under the "Mega Star Status". I would love to see more of the creative and phenomenonly talented actor side of Mr. Bachchan.
Someone talked about De-Niro and Al, they are great actors, but have you seen the recent movies that they have also done? Again, nothing against these actors, they are my "actor-idols" too, but you cannot compare the kind of cinema they get to do because of the cinematic freedom and creative acceptance of the audience abroad.
Mr. Bachchan was always stuck with his movie persona. He grew larger than life. To break that was tough and so were his years in the middle. He has always bounced back. Mr. Bachchan is an actor, that is his profession. So whether he does theatre, ads, or cinema he will always bring in some variation and thats what we love about our "Sarkaar" !
since I m in real world.the impact of reel world is everywhere. and Mr. B is commanding it. if there are some not good rolls by Big B then it is the fasult of directors that they are not able to utilise him. now he has to do more and more acting as he has limited options as age goes on.and he redefines the old age of an average indian. take care Amitji and lage raho..........
He is not overexposed. If he is, it shows that there is a demand for it. Overexposure of his kind of mega talent is benefitial. What have people like Dilip Kumar achieved by being underexposed?
He is an entertainer and he is doing justice to his work.
And people could never get enough of him. The word 'overexposure' has no meaning in his career.
