All I would like to say is he's so versatile in his appearances,performance and everything he does and this makes us feel more comfortable with him and see him as one whom we know better than anyone else.He's deifintely an ICON with a difference. He deserves what he's today and there's a lot one can learn from his life even.He went to Rags from Riches and again he built himself up. If life has shown him the best he has also seen thw worst of it.
Personally speaking he is the best and deserves the best his humbleness,honesty in talk is worth realising and following.I really wish to be one like him. My best wishes to him
Like most bollywood fans around the world, I am an ardent admirer of AB. However, it is hard to understand why he is a part of evey Tom, Dick & Hrry film. He is probably one of the luckiest aging actors in Bollywood to be offered some amazing stuff to satiete his appetite for doing quality work! He needs to plan his career moves in accodance with what the audience expects from him and most importantly, what kind of projects would he like to be a part of. He is an intellectual and has qualities that not only make him a good actor but a good human too! Its time for him to do stuff that can live upto standards he has set for himself and perhaps, soar higher. Here's wishing him all the very best in all his future endeavors!
It is definitely annoying to see Amitabh popping up every once in a while when watching television. It feels like a huge country like India has just one big actor which is surely not the case. He along with Shah Rukh Khan are two of the most overhyped and overrated actors in the industry today. I am sure Amitabh can never match the performance of Pankaj Kapoor in Maqbool. Unfortunately lots of people might not even recognise him on the street. "Black" was also an overhyped film which I hope goes unnoticed at the Oscars. It maybe good enough for Lux, Manikchand and Filmfare awards but definitely not for the Oscars. We all know Amitabh is a rich man but with him appearing on every single advertisment on the tv, he is just coming across as being plain greedy. When there are a lot of people in this country who can't even afford 2 square meals a day surely Mr.Amitabh can do without the extra money to satisfy his fancy needs and luxuries. Looks like he can't resist featuring in an ad even if he is paid only 1 Rupee! I hope he takes a break, at this age he should be reading the hanuman chalisa or The Geeta. Or maybe he should take sanyas and go the himalayas and stop bothering us!
I think he is adorable and very talented.The more we see him the more we love him.He may be able to act or be in front of our eyes for a few years ... lets not miss the opportunity!
Dear all , According to me Mr.Bachaan has his own identity and for this identity people have been taking him in adds. So what if he does so many adds atleast he doesnot add for tobacco over any harmful thing for humans.And taking about his appering in all adds there is a differnce created in the products ,so the company takes him whether what he charges.Didn't u all see the count of people getting there children(awarness) increased since he came in the add for polio doses . Do not forget the cadbury crisis; Apart from this he is a simple and humble human and like others he would take care of his family till he can.We are no one to interfer in his matters to what type of films he does or not .u cannot expect everyone perfect . I have not met or seen him personally , but he is a respectable man and has a very respectable family . I am very happy that Mr.Bacchan belongs to india .
Sorry those people who have commented on Big B as he has spoiled his image by doing multiple ads & movies i strongly disagree.Let me clear to all those people that Big B has seen a lot up & downs in his life,like debacle of ABCL/Failure of Miss World Event/his own house got auctioned...etc....now at the age of 60's any one else could have died of heart attack but this man Big B remains steady he fought& still fighting to build up his ABCL trying to clear all his debits....who at the age of 63 have such kind of enegry & staima/potential to do such things..? Its very easy to put the comments on one man but when the things comes onto practical its something else...in today world's commercial ad's are very important from the popularity point of view every stars do the ad's if the companies are offering Big B to endorses for them then why people are having the problem..? His doing what suits him well he is earning money..let him...why we people are bothered about it...So far image is concered everybody knows even in SRK movies Big B is working these days reason being is producers want max output frm the movie.
These is a truth that Indian media awake very late and Indian Fans totally fool. Most of the Ads by Big B are of highly unwanted goods .... after Indian team's performance people would awake ...
If he is as great as he is made out to be how come he has more flops than hits(you can count them)and moreover most of his hits had multi stars.It was Salim-Javed who made him a star through their scripts.If he was that great a star why did a TV show have to salvage him,financially and otherwise.What has he done for the common man "nothing" besides erasing his monumental debts, all self created for himself.No"Great" star has films that have flopped as badly as his.It would be an insult to education to have an University named after someone as self centered as him.If it had not been for the late Mehmood & his brother Anwar Ali, Amitabh would be back in Allahabad, where he rightfully belongs. He is absolutely nothing compared to stars of yesteryears.Besides the TV show it was the media that brought him back from the dead to the world of living or else he was history years ago.
Without any doubt he is not only over exposed in the last 2 years or so but he has poisoned 'the actor Amitabh'.Those days are over when one used to wish for his appearance but he was not available. Bhachan sahib just think over that money is not everything ,infact all those cheap products do presents a picture among present day kids.It is better to retire gracfully otherwise people will forget that Amitabh Bhachan was something>
