I guess u slept quite a bit during the movie. else u couldn't 've found every dialogue comic. The movie was a let down comparing kamal's comic movies standards. The movie was sprinkled with comedy. yes, kids will njoy. Crazy mohan's dialogues are missed sorely. performances r good. manisha is just there, absolutely no role.
We recently saw the film and movie is quite okay. I think your review should not be your personal opinion. It should be common people's opinion . There is alo another review from www.indiafm.com and that review is quite impressive .. You better change your style of reviewing the good movies ( previosy you did the same mistake on Anbe Sivam ) FROM FM ******* On the whole, MUMBAI XPRESS is a well-made entertainer that has ample moments to keep you in splits. At the box-office, the film should work with word of mouth. Its business at multiplexes of metros mainly will be excellent.
Dear Warrier, First u have to learn the basics before writing a film review. U have written classics somewhere. First, u should learn what is classic in film parlance. Then comes, Kamal the best comic actor in the country. He is one of the best actors in the nation and please dont dare to suggest him as a comic actor. I strongly believe that the review of Mumbai express Tamil is biased and in favour of Kamalhassan. Compare the recview of the tamil & hindi version of Mumbai xpress in your own website.
I strongly feel the Hindi version review is more appropriate for both the Hindi and tamil versions.
For any normal viewer (non fan of both of Kamal & Rajni)Chandramuki is far better than Mumbai express and not the other way round as your review suggests.
These reviewers are biased. Just the mention of the name Kamal makes them to review the film in his favour. One other guy in this group is Madan. Who boasted alot about Alavandan, which is a utter flop. But most times people reject him in tamil nadu, because he only boasts and do not do justise to his name tag.
Warrier mentioned the story is original. I heard, people who saw the movie, still wondering what the story is. Kamal is good in choosing good technicians, but when it comes to acting or chosing a story, he is a copy cat. Yet to see a original film(except thevar magan and maganadhi) from him. Everything is a remake of some hindi or english film. And his acting/mannerism are the same after Nayagan. I find only kamal in all his films and not the charachter. Unlike Surya or Vikram who actually potrays the charachter.
Warrier talked about Goundamani/Senthil. They cater to all the masses, unlike Kamal who caters only to middle and upper middle class.
Better luck next time kamal. Try to live upto your expectations. You are yet to give a good film. And that too original.
Sidhu Warrier needs to re-look Chandramukhi ('CM')...I cannot believe the comment made that it is a "terrible" movie..!!..Whats so terrible??..Can Sidhu be more elaborate? So what if its a copy of the Malayalam movie..so many movies are dubbed and re-made..is there anything wrong with it?
I take the point that Kamal is indeed one of the best actors the nation has produced...no doubt about it!..he is a classy actor and many a time produces good films..all south indian actors even Rajini acknowledges that!.
I completely disagree that CM is a terrible movie..just look at the mass hysteria and the jubiliant mood that is floating around in TamilNadu, USA, Japan, Dubai, GCC Countries, Srilanka, Singapore, Malaysia, UK and Indonesia...!!...People have declared it a SUPER HIT and say that is much better than Baba!..Its is different role that Rajini has played, which is a positive sign in itself..
