Madan Mohan was truly the King of ghazals.....right from the days of Anpadh (Aapki nazron...) to Mausam (Ruke Ruke se kadam...). And "Mera Saaya" is an all-time favorite. Hats off to this maestro. And I sincerely consider myself very very fortunate to witness another bouquet from his eternal garden..courtesy Yash Chopra...! God bless!
It was indeed a great opportunity for me to read the article about Late Madan Mohan. Being a singer and a music lover (specially old songs), I really cherished this article as I did not know much about M.M.'s compositions. Would appreciate you if you could send more articles on MM or some other old composers & Singers like SD& RD Burman, Kishore, Lata, Rafi, Mukesh etc.

While great composers like R.D Burman, Laxmikanth-Pyarelal were successful some greats were not -Madan Mohan and Ravinder Jain come to my mind.
I regard Madan Mohan as one of the best in Hindi Film word. Ther is a duet with Lata [I can hum butnot recollect words]which is a great song-which is enough to prove-apart from-Tujahan..of Lata-that Madan Mohan is one of the greatest.
