I am sure it feels great to tread the road less traveled, but its easy to figure out a phoney !! A very superficial review bordering on the juvenile. Can only compare this with a roadside tea stall owner opining on fine wine with a Oxford dictionary handy !
For all those who haven't heard a lot of music ,I have some news,Yuva is a REMIX album!'Dhakka Laga Bukka' has traces of MJ's 'Jam' and'Scream'while 'DOl DOl' sounds very similar to all of Talvin Singh's instrumentals.Whats more,'Fanaa' is mixed remix! between Robert Miles and a famous female Pakistani singer of 80's.
There are ppl who cant digest the fact that geniuses have their own style. These kinda ppl are always on the prowl to find glitches to gain publicity (I count bijoy to be one maong them). In a billion plus country like India, short term success rides on passion. There have been numerous instances of ppl tasting success overnight n disappear from the fray with the same pace. But holding onto the top is the key. Be it sachin or ARR, doing it consistently is no mean thing. One cant expect sachin to score a hundred every time he walks out to bat. Nor can one expect ARR to deliver masterpieces with every release. The kind of music ARR has delivered speaks for itself, none culd match his success n style. So time will prove if Yuva/AE is worth the praise or not, such is been the story of ARR's other countless memorable hits.
