good review. the promos of the movie don't seem to be interesting at all. and as the writer said it appears to deal more with flesh than anything else. the subject in itself is somewhat uninteresting where one girl and a boy are fighting for same girl. isn't it like the same triangle movie, except that we have two people of opposite sexes battling it out. the concept of lesbianism in itself hasn't been given justice where the story drifts into the lesbian girl turning into a villanious character. the story in itself definitely lacks the punch. lesbianism as a feeling or a thought seems to be completely ignored, and the director tries to convey it through some flesh fest. wonder how many people are really going to watch this movie?
Nothing more than this was what i'd expected out of this movie...subjects such as lesbianism need a lot broader mind set and a lot more subltlety than any Bollywood director can ever handle...there is no place for sense and understanding in the current trend of 'masala' in bollywood. it is obvious what the movie was intended for when one sees a senseless cast like arora, kopikar for a subject so delicate.
it is really a pity that our culture is being spoiled by such movies. movies should be a showcase for our great old culture. but these people, for want of money just do whatever they want. i strongly advice not to encourage such movies , it is good to see that this movie is BIG BIG FLOP.
Going by the publicity of the movie, I can't believe anyone can expect anything other than the flesh in exhibition on screen. Pity on the reviewer that he went to see the movie with expectation like sensuous and mature treatment in the movie.
