Sholay was a terrible movie.I hate that movie. It moves with such a slow pace that we sleep half way watching the movie.I think that back in those days people were mad abt amitabh and thats the only reason why the movie became a hit.I donot wish there is a sequel to this movie in the making.Jesus Christ help save my country.
The article was really entertaining. Yes, i agree with the concept of sequels in bollywood. Specially i want to watch the Andaz apna apna sequel. It was a really fun movie and i would like to know what would they do (Aamir & Salman) in Sequel.
I can't imagine of sequel of one of the hindi cinema classics "SHOLAY". The movie was a "SHOLA" when released and still remains a RED HOT "SHOLA" with all the hindi cinema lovers. Such a classic where in every shot was a pleasure to watch can never be utilised for a sequal. Many people tried after the stupendous success of SHOLAY to come up with a similar sort of version but in vain.
In a poor attempt to fill column space, the columnist has resorted to dimwitted caricaturing of some of the most beloved hindi flicks. Its regrettable that instead of churning out something creative, the columnist is throwing out low-quality musings. And no, my sense of humor isn't dead, but it needs something more than basement-bargain humor to tickle it. And whats confusing is that she makes a point that Bhakti Bharve is dead and her role needs to be played by someone else. So what about Thakur Baldev Singh from Sholay? Ghostly figures been paying her a visit lately? Whats that about?
hi guys, I had been a crazy film watcher despite being a doctor, but some habits really die hard. I would like to see a sequele of sholay and i wish it should be created with same actors in the same format with some new ideas, but at least our Big b has not to die in this.
i would like to see sequel to "Jaane bhi do yaaron". The film deals with todays most worst disease which we are going through all the time, i.e. Corruption, Unemployment and many more. It treats the subject entirely in a different way with good sense of humour. It relates to each n everything in our life.
Actually, I'm very happy that Indian films don't have sequels. Sequels are the sign of acute commercialization and lack of creativity. Today, Indian national cinema is still the largest in terms of number of films produced every year. And I would say it is very successful compared to other national cinemas because it is so different from the rest of the world.
Hi, It was extremely entertaining to see that some folks share the same 'filmy' outlook as mine. Personally I would like to see a sequel to the film 'sarfarosh' by the same director keeping the same actors. Remember the unfinished business of capturing 'veeran'in the last shot ?
