a winner all the way. Nana's best work yet. Shimit Amin has done the impossible. his direction equals the style of Varma completely. Technically brilliant.
AB TAK SUPERHIT! NANA Patekar IS BACK! This movie will be recalled as his one of the best movies for sure. This movie peeps into the real life of Crime Branch officers. The movie reflects the real society and the real situations. While Khakee has some commercial ingredients, AT56 has no commercial ingredients. It has ONLY real life soul. This movie is faring well at box-office and the WORD OF MOUTH publicity will help to make it money-spinner. Two top grade performances from Ram Gopal Verma factory in this year so far- 1. Urmila (Ek Haseena Thi) and 2. Nana Patekar (Ab Tak 56)! A MUST-SEE. AB TAK SUPERHIT!!!
Dear Namesake - Revathy / Mohan Agashe here, Tanuja in Bhoot / Khakee, Rekha in Bhoot/KMG, Nandidat Das in Aks,Makrand Deshpande in Chameli, Mohanlal in Compnay - Lord...the ilst goes on.Ever thought if you would really emphatise with tehse characters if it was someone else with equal acting skills in the same situation but not an iota of the faimiliarity and awe said artists evoke? Movies are larger than life, dear namesake, and it doesnt all have to do with the acting. Theres a lot of psychology involved. Your mind and yuor sense belong to the director, and an actors 'acting ability' is just one of the many toos he has at his disposal to play with it and churn you inside out.Smallthigns ilke ur familiarity and respect for an actor add tremendously to the impact the character makes on you.Glad you enjoyed the movie though. Jai Hind!
Hi, Ab Tak Chappan is a great film in all aspects.. Nana Patekar as a cop (Sadhoo Agashe) is a treat to watch on the big screen. He is great in it. His performance underlines the fact that he can perform any kind of role with simplicity. He is great in the film and is all set to sweep all the awards for best actor next year... first time director also deserves credit for his direction skills...In all, the film is great and everybody should watch this film.. Revthi is also great in her little role...she looks very much part of the film ..i dont think she is wested atall..
This movie is a kool one for all nana fans. Just wanted to point out a small mistake in the movie, in the end Nana says that he killed Firoz in an encounter, the day he escaped in a shoot out. Then how come nana trusts the guy (Nana's informer) who called him saying he has information about Firoz and Nana believes him thereby getting arrested himself.

Hi Amit u r absolutely correct. Thanks for ur keen observation. If possible write to the director so that in future he should keep it in mind while making such intersting movies. any if we delete that portion the movie is very good...specially nana is simply great.

ya I know he does that .......... but it was just because he wanted to make the informer trust nana, so that he would call him abroad. In other words, he didn't want the informer to know that he was aware that the Zameer (the informer) was the killer of his wife. That way when he went to Zameer's house in the other country ... he easily killed him.

i think he goes after the information since .. may be he can find out about the guy who killed his wife, his main suspect Zameer. may be this is right!

I think, he went because may be he was testing waters, trying to see what was in store. but it turned out to be a plot..
