I think he will be best suited for the role because of his decent looks,great body and big heart.He is the only actor in the bollywood who can do justice with lord Ram role.I am his big fan and waiting for all his movies.best of luck salman.always with you.
With due respect to LORD RAMA, I don't think the director, producers are doing justice to this role by appointing "SALMAN KHAN" for this role.
The role demands a pious, dutiful person in real life too. Salman, dosen't seem to fit this "RESUME" neither in real life, nor in reel life. Leave aside his physical compatibilities with LORD RAMA'S bodily structure & height.
I think, the best person to go for this role could be "JACKIE SHROFF". Why him, because he's a tall guy, has done some roles with the name of "RAM" & I think he's a serious actor. Don't you think so ??
I pity the imagination of producer/director who has imagined salman as ram.Sri ramji was almighty lord incarnate himself.For an actor(salman and acting dont go together,he can only strip.) u need to bring the character u r portraying into urself.Can u imagine salman bringing ramji(lord himself) in his heart .If he could do that all hindus will pray him as a revered saint .He will truly become saint if he can play ramji.I think he will probably suit the character of laxmanji instead.With ram being portrayed by anil kapoor,or hrithik roshan.Ram was extremely handsome(salman is only handsome) and tall(salman looks like a lost puppy).Ram protected innocent,salman crashed them under his car.Ram was one life,one women person.Salman is one year(may be one month,one day) one women person.The best role for salman is that of a male stripper in a movie like oops in which he is best at.No dialogs,no acting just come on stage and strip.Or may be he can suit a role of someone like vin diesel in a movie like fast and furious.U wont need a stunt man to do the car stunt,salman is good at it.Or may be if some bollywood producer is making a movie about deer hunting again salman is best candidate.
despite being a fan of Salman Khan, in my point of view Salman'personality does not suit Lord Ram'character. No need to describe Lord Ram's character. But as we know salman looks good in short tampered role. "Bhagwan" was his last release and his acting in the movie was very cosmetic rather than natural. Akshay did very good in movie "Dharkan" and i think Askhay would be better choice for the Lord Ram. Even Manoj Bajpey or Ajay Devgan would be right choice for the same.
I think he as an actor will surely do justice to this role, and this is for sure. Fan fantasy should be there but all u people should see him just as an actor who has given maximum number of hits to indian cinema. He's one of the actor who has improved the image of indian cinema abroad, by doing the films like HAHK, etc. He can do all sort of roles right from macho man to a very innocent person, so why he cant do LORD RAMA, religion should not be considered here. Anybody may say whatever they want but salman i wish u all the best i can.
he is the best looking guy along with akshay kumar in the hindi film industry and i dont think his religion has anything to do with his playing the role of Lord Rama. those who are saying all this are the people with no brains. i m sure he would do justice to that role.
