You are getting heated up for no reason....I did not compare DDLJ the movie, with HAHK the movie.....I went against the author's false comparisons between the female protagonists of the movie.....:)
Even so, I enjoyed HAHK better....yeah, so it was pure torture haan? That's why it broke records of even Sholay to become the longest running movie!
Acc to me, the performances were wonderful in HAHK, with Dixit stealing the show (as usual!)
ABout 'situational' songs....I am sorry, but HAHK has far more situational songs....in fact, the songs look much better with the film than without it! Everything from Vah Vah Ramji to Dhik Tana had some situation....
"Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" is the dialogue that MD and Salman ask each other when they are falling in love....it is a teasing way of confessing "I love you!"......this title is far better than the less-creative Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge....
ANyways....I am sorry but your post had nothing to do with what I posted first
DDLJ is a completely, totally a fabulous film.it has made me fall in love with it.It's a interesting story, romantically displayed by Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan & the cinematography is superb.i have wathched this film thrice a day on 1 weekend.I hope DDLJ breaks all the records of Sholay.
