u bet!!i cudnt agree with u more!!i just read the novel love story and also saw the movie...i havent seen Khwaish, but just after reading the reviews, can gauge that it must be a really really sad copy!!why cant ppl come up wth something original. atleast they shouldnt spoil someone elses work!!
menon says he wants to bring sex out o' the closet , saying that the indian people aren't very well versed with the knowledge about sex....i guess he's right but i also think that he's a guy who is not very well versed with the knowledge about film making..he thinks that if he makes a movie filled with all sorts 'o sex stuff in it , it'll work . to make a good movie he has to understand the people sitting in the theatres ,their point 'o view ,what they like , what they love..of course they love this thing but obviously it's not one 'o those movies which they would like to see twice n as far as i think for all the sex thing the internet is enough for the teenagers..so half the tickets gone n u dont get any family watching ur movie( u know why ....)n ..100/- for popcorn ..not me..n so what's left... ya i remember "lets wait for the next movie!"..chalte chalte na...ya!
these days sex is the only selling thing available in the market. i am not telling that other things like good stories or nice screenplays or fine movies are not salable but they are not available. sex is available and salable. but movies like this will not solve the purpose. the formula is less cloths and more money. a dirty trend is started by "JISM". i hate such directors who are proving the audiance a fool and sex maniach that we are not. we appreciate good movie indeed. please dont consider us like this .
