THis is not a reaction to the movie. Rather a comment on all the comments posted here. It seems that Mallika's interview and the film review have really irked the hell out of our 'broad-minded' readers who really have no sense of humour at all. C'mon guys, chill. Give the girl a break. At least she has courage to attract attention and say it like it is. As for all those guys who claim they are 'not chauvinistic', take it from me - U R. You might be well-educated and settled in US, but deep-down you are the same. You might not like Mallika displaying her assets openly, but hide playboys under the sheets. Relax, she is only a young girl trying to make her mark in bad old Bollywood. Okay

But this is certainly reaction to your message: I'd request this real 'Broad minded' person to explain - Has she displayed her sense of humour by talking of bubs & smooches ? And you-by justifying her acts in the movie & interview- what sense of humour u r talking about? To be able to differentiate between 'laugh away' things & 'trash away' things one needs basic sense-leave alone sense of humour- When u talk of bad bollywood world - its equally bad for other actress--do u mean they should also 'flesh out' or talk on private parts in public ? its all done to gain instant fame. Mark this- she'll be forgotten soon if she believes in only stripping rather than concentrating on acting. And what she said is not what is-- she is forcing her views by saying that she's shown what people wanted- its reverse - people will see what u show them-flicks like 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun'or 'Taal' are still adored by people. No doubt -Her steamy scenes will be seen by millions but will she be remebered or liked by people.I bet-not.

The question is whether one performs the act of chauvinism in public or behind closed doors. Its natural for every human being to be performing the act of sex or acts related to sex(hiding the PlayBoy behind the bed-sheet included)--but human beings differentiate themselves from other living beings by doing it in privacy--everyone of us is the direct product of sex----but does that mean it should be or allowed to be performed or displayed openly--this female(yeah--just a female)is no good-whaaat boldness--whaaat mark-whaaat bollywood-its all to gain fame--dignity all lost--God bless her & her so called 'boldness'--
I think she needs to discuss this with someone in her family, whether the trend she is talking of bringing in is about lesser clothes and bolder stuff or good and different movies...... I do not disagree with her but I have some doubts which none but time will clear
What a funny justification..!! Ms Mallika-people do not want to see flesh -but since u r stripping-they are enjoying the strip show.--they didn't ask u to strip..!! People still adore the actors & actresses of yester years when flower met...ur rise to fame may be meteoric but so will be the fall. there will be better faces in the pipeline who are willing to bare more n more flesh. so ur existance will be short lived-only real genuine talent will survive-u will disappear surely coz u r arrogant too. By calling 'jats have finally arrived'.U dont need to be told to get lost-u will automatically get lost once people have seen every inch of u.Ur co star said that u r not a nun. Yes u r not a nun- u r just for fun & funny things do not last long...do they?
