The article states "Even if the box-office for Main Prem... follows the usual tradition for Hindi films -- a decline of 50 per cent in the second week -- it could still have a decent $1.5 million gross in the end". This means that the theatres are half empty in the second week. And we still take pride in our performance in US and UK. MPKDH and CC (in their 1st week) are competing in the top 20's with films who are already in their 5/6th week and our films are below them in that list. It is only due to the emotion-starved NRI audience that our films make money. What's so great about it. Our biggest achievment will be when the non-asian audience flock to see our films. MPKDH might prove to be a hit overseas but in India it has failed. Mr. Sooraj, you cannot fool the audience everytime. Its better if the likes of Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra learn from their mistakes and improve the quality of their films.
Surprising that a film of such low quality is actually making money.A poor duplicate of Hum Aapke hain kaun, this film has all of it..mediocre direction and extremely bad action by most of the actors,AB seems to be the only saviour in this mockery of a film.
